We did not plan on staying in Palmer so we did not have a reservation placed so we called on our way to Palmer. And the person on the phone said just show up, we tried to give our information because we were a couple hours away yet but for some reason he did not want to take our information,... More

Lovely spot ... then they cram you in like sardines. Neighbor's dump spot directly adjacent to our picnic table. No receipt, rate seemed to be pulled out of the air. Can't wait to get out of here. How this is Good Sam approved escapes me, management seemed to put in zero effort.

This is our 2nd stay this month - will probably come through one more time as we travel about Alaska. This is not a lower 48 campground, but with what we've seen around Alaska over the past month, Mt View is one of the better park. This is not a lower 48 resort campground - no pool, no playground, no... More

Their advertisements tout their "sites with full hookups and 30 amp service" but only after you've paid your money do they hand you the list of rules that says absolutely no electric heaters or air conditioners. That's not full-hookups in my book. If I'm paying for a full-service campground, I expect to be able to use my A/C on a... More

Mt View RV Park is the BEST in ALASKA. This is a great family run park and great family community. The owner is extremely friendly and welcoming. I am going on my second year full-timing here in my 5th Wheel. The laundry and bath rooms have been completely renovated this past summer and are in excellent condition. There is more... More

Great Family run RV Park. Quiet, no loud parties, no highway noise. Quaint shops and excellent restaurants. Close to wildlife parks, in fact a mama Moose and twin calves walked right through the park and into the woods behind. Excellent facilities, spotless restroom/showers and laundry. We will definitely stay here when we return to AK.

Stayed here on the trip through Alaska. It is a Good Sam Park with a fairly good location to Anchorage. We booked reservations in March and confirmed them in June. At our arrival in July we were told we needed to move our RV for 1 day because of a caravan who needed our full hook ups for 1 night... More
