I am a life long resident of Palmer and have eaten at this establishement on several occasion over the years. The food is average at best. What I witenessed the other night at the restraunt I have to say I will not be going back anytime soon. I watched as two different servers took and pocketed tips from another servers... More

Spent one night here and it was one of the worst nights EVER!!!! Our room was so hot that I thought it may actually catch fire. They provide 0 toiletries save a tiny bar of ivory soap um really I had forgot my shampoo and was pretty much sol. Everything about this place was old and tired and the owners... More

I hate eating this place with only two stars, but when you consider that three stars is "average" I have no choice! This place is a blast from the past with its old style keys with the tags saying that drop them in any mailbox and they will be returned! We shared a room with two twin beds and not... More

The room was very basic, but we were only there for six hours. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. It was absolutely freezing in the room when we first checked in and extra blankets would be a nice touch. It wasn't the best place I have ever stayed, but it was great for what we needed that... This place was nice & clean and the staff was helpful too! The hotel is in the heart of Palmer not too far from the state fair grounds, a reindeer farm, or if you're into hiking the Butte. It has two restaurants, that serve the same menu, one is a 24/7 diner and the other has a bar (there is... More

I didn't love this place but I didn't hate it. It's a basic room with toilet/shower/bed. No frills. Would not stay here again because you can get more from a major chain for the same price. Positive was that the restaurant is open 24/7. Greasy spoon. Interesting local conversations.

Not the best, but not the worst. If you don't get a room with a queen, the twin beds are tiny. Smaller than a normal twin, I think. And the place can get noisy with drunks in the parking lot, due to the 24 hour cafe downstairs. But I've stayed here so much the place is practically a second home... More

Valley Hotel is a mixed bag. The good: the room (nothing special but looked newly painted). The photo above accurately depicts the room we had. Halls and adjacent diner were all clean, parking is free and plentiful, the area feels very safe, with several restaurants in easy walking distance. The front rooms have a pretty view of the gorgeous mountains.... More

If you are heading up to Hatcher Pass and hiking in the area this hotel was nice. We had a great size room for 3 of us. This hotel was also conveniently located across the street from the large grocery store and right off the highway if you are heading to Anchorage or Denali. It definitely was a bit older... More

This is a cute old hotel and a great price at $85 a night. The view from our window was beautiful and the room had some cute touches. There is a 24 hour diner attached which I loved, solely for the purpose that you don't see those much anymore. We did go there for breakfast and the food was o.k.... More
