Right on the lake, very rustic, cabin with two full bedrooms, full kitchen, and full living room. very nicely place on the lake/ in the mornings/ a big moose would walk across the lawn...and just look in the window at me. What a winner!! Karen and Jim are the two nicest people you will want to meet. Karen lets you... More

No matter how much I write I could not say enough about this amazing place. My wife and I arrived a day early during our anniversary trip, but Jim and Karen still found a way to accommodate us for the evening. It turned out they had a cabin that was being renovated and was nearly finished. As we had been... More

Daniels Lake Lodge is not your usual B&B as Karen provides your food for breakfast and let's you prepare and eat what you want.As you have the run of the kitchen you can bring food back or Karen gives you menus from nearby eateries. We had the 'Timberwolf' room that looks out on to the lake, and what a view it is.It's... I stayed here with my 13 year old nephew. We enjoyed everything - the beautiful view of the lake, the boats, fishing (with rods and bait provided) and of course, the hot tub. The hosts Jim and Karen are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast if do-it-yourself but everything is available and easily made. I liked that we could make breakfast... More

Stayed in one of the cabins by the lake. Allowed for our privacy but yet close to the main house. Lovely hosts who couldn't have been any nicer. Beautiful lake. Fishing on the lake, renting a boat right there using the rods they provided. Very reasonable prices. Would definitely stay there again if in the area. Loved our time there.... More

Stayed at the facility off and on for several months while working in the Kenai area, and was able to stay in all of the cabins & rooms on the property. Some are cozy, others quite spacious, but all are clean and comfortable. Worked out great for the extended time I was there, with full kitchens to cook my meals,... More

Thank you for saying such wonderful things about us. I'm pretty sure I can guess your name. We enjoyed meeting all of your co-workers & family who came to visit you. Glad you caught all those fish for healthy winter eating. More

Old rundown Cabin- Not very nice. Musty. Water- strong sulfur smell. Junk yard on the property. I would not drink the water or bathe in it. Not the place that is advertised in travel literature. The lake and setting was nice, that's all. You won't get me back to this vacation cabin. GH

Lovely place. Rooms are a bit snug but private bath comes complete with a whirlpool tub. The view is amazing and can be viewed from the rooms. Hot tub is in the shelter of trees and offers the same view. Boats and fishing supplies are available for guests' use and bug spray is provided. The kitchen and living room are... More

The hosts, Karen and Jim are adorable and kind. The Lodge is located next to a beautiful lake. Amenities such as a row boat, a paddle boat, a motorized boat are available at a nominal fee. Fire pit/wood, lounge chairs, patio, grill, satellite television are a plus! Karen even offered bug spray if we needed it. They sprayed the entire... More

First let me say Karen was nice, I only wish the description of the cabin had been more accurate. Water was the primary issue. The water in both faucets and the shower was brown and smelled. That is not an exaggeration. There is no mention in the advertisement that you MUST bring drinking water. Showering in it was bad enough... More
