It was a wonderful experience, great people who own it, their children work there and they are so nice. I recommend you stay here, you will be glad you did. Great food, free breakfast that was delicious. Ice cream shop with great pie and desserts. Cabins were so beautiful and comfortable. Most enjoyable part of our trip.

The lodge was only an hour and a half or two from Anchorage and situated by an extraordinary and beautiful lake. Well worth the drive!! Bring your own fishing poles and borrow a canoe or paddle boat (for free!) and fish for a few hours. It was so much fun! We actually stayed in two cabins since there weren't four... More

Oh dear. Last night of Season -13 September. Staff on run down. Greeted by a message on Restaurant door to say words to the effect that the menu was limited. Salmon, prawns & only one portion of fish and chips were offered for a hot meal! Plenty of Burgers! No rye bread was available for breakfast. We drove to Coopers... More

We stayed at the lodge on the night of Sept. 4 in cabin 21. Cabin was rustic and beautiful all at the same time. The view of the lake out the front window and the small porch was amazing. The bed was comfortable and the cabin warm and toasty. A special treat was the warm bathroom floor-much appreciated late at... More

Summit Lake Lodge offers lodging in separate small cabins near a mid-size lake just off the Seward Highway, Alaska Rt. 1. The cabins are nicely furnished with rugged frontier style furniture, offer private baths, and are clean and comfortable. Gas space heaters provide warmth. If you like cabin camping this is a good choice. Additional bedrooms are available in a... More

We stayed in one of the cabins and enjoyed a wonderful night in celebration of our 10-year anniversary. The cabin was beautiful, cozy, and modern. The bed was huge and comfortable. We ate breakfast and dinner inside the lodge. The food was fantastic and the price was more than reasonable. We will definitely be back.

We stayed for 3 nights in early September. Very comfortable and very friendly. Good, central location for access to Homer, Seward etc. We stayed right at the end of the season, but still got very good service. The on-site restaurant is excellent.

If I could retire in Alaska, this would be the place. The cabin was adorable with very modern features. The bath mats were amazing. It was a pleasure to get up in the middle of the night just to walk on them! The breakfast was outstanding and the scenery was first class!

We enjoyed our short stay here. Beautiful Location and fresh cabins. Very friendly and very nice breakfast. The price was more than we would normally pay, but it was a very enjoyable way to spend our last day in Alaska.

Very convenient, yet feels private. Wonderful walking trails, kayaks/canoes provided to guests. Great bar with true Alaskan feel and a friendly bartender. Food was outstanding in taste and presentation. Cabin was very quaint with COMFORTABLE beds and a GREAT shower. What else do you need??
