Great location and price value. The hotel is central for everything from food to items you may need that you need. Plenty of fishing and the mountain views and the you will see the Kodiak bears and eagles.

This is a nice, basic hotel in the middle of Kodiak. They have a restaurant located on the second level which serves some decent food around the clock. The continental breakfast is pretty good and filling. Stayed here for several nights and didn't have a bad night. The hotel is laid out in an unusual fashion, so finding your room... More

I have stayed at the Best Western Kodiak Inn and Convention Center nearly once a month recently and always find the staff to be friendly and helpful. One time I needed to get on my computer before I had actually checked in and they let me use the conference room. They have given me directions and recommendations and go out... More

This is a basic, decent motel - clean and comfortable. It makes a good stop overnight if you are heading out via floatplane to more remote locations. Nothing much more to say but I need to get to 200 characters.

Started visiting Kodiak over 10 years ago and stayed at Best Western seven times. The Hotel is a 15 minutes drive to the best Silver Salmon fishing in the world. the river is next to the airport which is also handy. You drive and park your car and walk to the Buskin River. Best time is month of Sept. The... More

This property has quite a few drawbacks as you'd expect from a small town accomodation in Alaska. The building layout is funky where you have to walk up two flights, walk down, and then walk up again to reach the 2d floor. Parking is very difficult as there are few spaces and one must park on the main highway. The... More

The staff at this hotel made all the difference--friendly, helpful, cheery and accommodating. The building is old and worn, dark and in need of major refurbishing. Rooms are good sized, very comfortable beds and the usual other amenities. Avoid room 236 (and possible neighbors) because the water pipes clang all night. Buffet breakfast with eggs, meat, cereal, fruit, pastries is... More

A lot can change in a year and these changes were not for the better. Rooms not as clean, used soap in the shower. One day there was no coffee or hot food at the breakfast buffet. The staff was friendly but seemed not to care very much. I could have hit a bad time but was disappointed. It's biggest... More

Best Western Kodiak Inn is the best possible place to stay on the island unless you're out "in country." You're right across the street from the harbor and a couple short blocks from "downtown", you don't need a car unless you're heading out a distance - the town is part of the experience of being in Kodiak! Looking for super... More
