Personally, I really like this hotel. It's older, and the walls are thin, and it's loud on the weekends, but the staff is great, the restaurant is pretty good, and I much prefer these types of small town hotels over something like the Best Western or Super 8. It is also very clean and well kept. Should I ever end... More

Okay, this place was built in the 1920's and survived what looks like many code changes. Normally would rate lower, bc of minor repairs that need to be done, but there is a history to this place and location is perfect. It was clean and friendly!

This is an old, historic hotel with a great staff, wonderful food in the Classic Annabelle's Restaurant downstairs.Great view of the waterfront and within easy walking to just about everything you would want to see or do.

On unhappily discovering that our flight from Seattle to Juneau could not go further than Ketchikan and we were going to have to spend the night, I selected The Gilmore Hotel from the list handed out at the airport. The night manager was caught off-guard at closing time with a constant barrage of phone calls from stranded travelers looking for... More

I had the pleasure of staying at the Gilmore in July 2014 for work. This was booked for me through the office, so I had no idea of the accessibility. We checked into our rooms - we did wait a bit as there was only one clerk. She was very sweet and helpful. I had just been on the mend... More

I found the Gilmore hotel to be quaint. True it's an old property, but it has character and I didn't experience anything not working or being "run down". The price was reasonable (I believe we got a deal for staying for several days). If you want luxury, this is not the place (and you're going to need to pay quite... More

Went to the front desk and she said the they turn the boiler off at night. Wow 100.00 a night and they rurn the heat off on you.Didn't matter cause... More

While the hotel is listed on the historical registry, it does not have the historic flavor. The rooms are very small, dated and tired. There is no elevator and the rooms are on the second and third floor however the staff will assist with any luggage. Front desk clerk was friendly and helpful. It is in the middle of town... More

The front desk was wonderful. They called a shuttle to pick us up from the ferry terminal, let us check in early, checked our bags at the end of the trip and where always around to help. The rooms were small and basic but clean and had character. Not super fancy but a decent hotel in the heart of town.
