While the hotel is listed on the historical registry, it does not have the historic flavor. The rooms are very small, dated and tired. There is no elevator and the rooms are on the second and third floor however the staff will assist with any luggage. Front desk clerk was friendly and helpful. It is in the middle of town... More

The front desk was wonderful. They called a shuttle to pick us up from the ferry terminal, let us check in early, checked our bags at the end of the trip and where always around to help. The rooms were small and basic but clean and had character. Not super fancy but a decent hotel in the heart of town.

I've stayed here a few times over the last year for business. The first time I stayed I was greeted by a pillow sham that smelled like body odor when I laid down to sleep. I am not sure how frequently the bed linens are cleaned but it obviously hadn't been before my arrival. The room was also incredibly noisy... More

Stayed here on Aug. 12/13 2014. Worst hotel I've ever visited! BEDBUGS! Damp carpet, damp, musty bed. So bad I would not sleep under the covers, but instead slept on my sleeping bag atop the covers. Peeling paint on the walls, constantly dripping shower and a toilet that leaked on the floor. DO NOT STAY HERE if you want to... More

We are sorry this guest did not enjoy his stay, he booked two rooms for two nights and we were not aware of any problems with his stay until we read this review, right away we went upstairs and checked both rooms not knowing which one he was referring to, neither room showed any signs of bed bugs whatsoever, we... This is an old historic hotel right in the old town of Ketchikan. You get is what they got in the 1920's. Namely small rooms. Ours had the bathroom sink in the sleeping area. There is no elevetor or air conditioning. That said, Annabelles restaurant and bar right in the hotel is quite good. The staff are friendly and the... More

Since I love the downtown location, and the food at Annabelle's, I was a a long time customer of the Gilmore Hotel, up till the point I found the Super 8 to be a better deal, for the price. The cheapest rooms at the Gilmore have tiny shower / toilets, and are cramped, with a view of the neighboring buildings'... More

Old hotel with lots of charm. Very friendly staff. It is right downtown so you have the convenience of walking anywhere. As expected, nthe rooms are on the small side but have everything needed. We had windows overlooking the main street adn harbor.

We stayed at the Gilmore Hotel for 4 nites and it was great. Being an old hotel, it is not as perfect as the newer chain hotels but it's age gives it it's charm. The front desk bent over backwards for our needs and it is conveniently located in town. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. We also... More

I stayed at the hotel for six days whilst I was going to the hospital and found the rooms to be comfortable and the service excellent. The staff were very understanding of my situation went out of there way to help me. I would recommend the hotel to anyone and will certainly be staying there again when I am in... More

Where do I start? One double bed, which we knew going in, but just two tiny pillows and no room for suitcases. Useless bathroom. Nowhere to hang towels, bathroom fixtures that turn off as soon as you let go of them. One small glass shelf for accessories, no other place in bathroom for toiletries. Shelf mounted very closely over self-turning... More
