Our room had a lovely view of Ketchikan Creek with the town and Tongass Narrows in the distance. As the salmon began to congregate in the creek below, the eagles would perch on trees right outside our window! The location was perfect, with a tram that carried guests to the tourist streets below. We first discovered the Cape Fox Lodge while passing through Ketchikan on a Cruise Ship. The staff and restaurant were very nice and we decided to make a return visit and do some fishing the following year. When we stayed at the hotel we found the staff extremely helpful, the restaurant very good and the rooms themselves more than adequate.... more
