Madame's Manor Victorian Bed & Breakfast was home after a week of camping on Wrangell Is. Aug of 07'. Stayed in Madame's Boudoir suite with the atrium, spa tub and pillow covered bed and lots of bows, bangles, and stuff.

Breakfast was at 8:30 and after arriving at midnight it was tough to get down stairs for the yogurt with stuff, French toast that was waiting for awhile, and a coffee cup designed for a tea party. It was interesting...

The atrium has views of downtown and the cruise ships but also got very hot during the day....sunny weather was wonderful, but got the room’s evening temps up there, no AC.

The climb from town was tough after the day's activities so I recommend a cab.
The surprise was that payment was in ca$h, no other B&B or hotel in town asked to be paid that way. Worked it out with a balance transfer and ATM. Hmmmmm?

Place is for sale and if ya like frump, this is the place for you. Pleasant visit but not in the cards... more
