We were stranded by weather and could not continue to Juneau, hotel had a van that picked us up, warm and friendly arrival- Rooms were well appointed and very clean. Only drawback is if you have mobility issues- the stairs up to the rooms are very steep and there is no elevator. We would diffinetly stay here again.

Stayed here after going to several parties in down town Ketchikan New Years of 2013/14. I plan to do the same this year! Great old feel, comfortable beds and lovely decor. Good deal too for the new year! It's a strangely laid out building but that's because of it obvious historic age and location. Interesting to me!

This is my third time staying at this hotel and have enjoyed each time. Very friendly people with courtesy van service and close to the main part of Ketchikan. The rooms I have had were always spotlessly clean and roomy. Downside is the bar can get noisy on the weekends but doesn't go on until the wee hours.

I've had two extended stays over the last week and I couldn't be happier. The New York was a perfect place to chill out after a long season of work. The retro 1930s aesthetic was really cool and the view of the marina was excellent. The staff was exceptionally helpful for all of my needs especially Laura who went out... More

The New York Hotel is part of "Inn at Creek Street and New York Hotel" (more than one historic building). It's a fabulous little place, with character and a friendly owner and staff. They make you feel at home, and go out of their way to be helpful. In the rooms, it feels like a bed and breakfast, and in... More

We knew this was an older hotel. Our room was so darn cute. 2 twins in the back. The bathrom was not old and had been updated. It was our second experience with no ac/fan/screens on our trip, and would not be the last. It was not hot tho. It was an adventure. :) If you have trouble with stairs,... More

The hotel is older, really steep stairs and no air conditioning. It was very warm when I was there and I wish they would have told me there was a fan available:( great location, beautiful view. It was nice they picked me up at the ferry when I called , but I never saw an employee again the next three... More

I enjoyed a long solo stay (a couple of weeks) in the New York Hotel which is in a nice central location on the creek with rooms that look out over the basin. It is much more like a tiny bed and breakfast (without the breakfast) than a hotel. There is a restaurant next door where you can get breakfast... More

This hotel, located away from the docks, is absolutely delightful. Loved the ambience. The room was very comfortable over-looking a little seating area. It was furnished with antiques and the walls throughout the hotel had pictures from events in the past. Next door is a restaurant - informal with good food. As a tip, most stores close as soon as... We stayed one night. Selected based on trip advisor reviews and we were very pleased. It is a Historic building and hotel, well maintained, clean, nice room, friendly staff, cafe has great food and coffee. Room had great view of the harbor. Staff shuttled us from airport and to the ferry. Nice.
