I enjoyed a long solo stay (a couple of weeks) in the New York Hotel which is in a nice central location on the creek with rooms that look out over the basin. It is much more like a tiny bed and breakfast (without the breakfast) than a hotel. There is a restaurant next door where you can get breakfast... More

This hotel, located away from the docks, is absolutely delightful. Loved the ambience. The room was very comfortable over-looking a little seating area. It was furnished with antiques and the walls throughout the hotel had pictures from events in the past. Next door is a restaurant - informal with good food. As a tip, most stores close as soon as... We stayed one night. Selected based on trip advisor reviews and we were very pleased. It is a Historic building and hotel, well maintained, clean, nice room, friendly staff, cafe has great food and coffee. Room had great view of the harbor. Staff shuttled us from airport and to the ferry. Nice.

We had a nice room with a kitchenette in the building on Creek Street. In contrast to the main hotel it was very quiet. Since I am a light sleeper staying in this building was a necessity. a big plus is the restaurant in the New York Hotel . My wife and I thought it very good at a reasonable... More

We spent 10 days in one of their vacation rentals which had a full kitchen, bath, living room, one bedroom, and a washer and dryer. The view from this rental was fantastic as it looked right over the harbor and the street. We found it very comfortable and the housekeeping service was beyond what we have gotten in other vacation... More

i've stayed at the hotel on 3 previous occasions. The first two times I was in one of the stand alone buildings. They were comfortable places. The last time I stayed in the main hotel. The main hotel is an old building, because it's an old building the rooms are small. Another problem as old building the windows are not insulated, so... Stayed in Preachers House on Creek Street. First you should know that you have to walk up many stairs to get to the room which is located over a store. When you open the door a strong musty smell greets you. I think the room was vacate for some time. The living room has some makeshift table that is made... More

This hotel has two properties: the New York Hotel and the Inn at Creek Street. The New York Hotel is the historic hotel, on the main street, while the Inn is a couple of blocks away. We stayed at the Inn and it was fine: clean, quiet, comfortable beds. Our bus (NOT a hotel shuttle) had picked us up at... More

On the ferry back to the airport and was thoroughly impressed with this hotel and staff. Jessica was calm, welcoming and gave me an upgrade without my asking. I stayed in the Preachers House that had a small kitchen fully stocked with any cooking supplies you think you might need. It also had a washer/dryer which came in handy since... More

I had an unexpected business layover in Ketchikan and was booked at the "inn". I found it extremely quant and a real throw back to a historic time in Ketchikan history. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms made my stay a very happy surprise. I would recommend this hotel if you want a feel for the real Alaska :)
