More than just along the creek, this property overhangs the creek, so fish and bird watching while sitting on the deck using the provided grill and swilling a Coca-Cola comes easy after your flight or cruise. Historic Married Man's trail is the upstream right extension of the Creek Street boardwalk. Take the trail (stairs) up the hill for beautiful views... More

We stayed at this hotel prior to an Alaskan Dream cruise. It was a great spot right in the centre of this quirky little town. The hotel is small, older but has everything you need. A restaurant downstairs, good pub grub, wi fi to all rooms & good comfy beds. If you want local flavour right in town this hotel... More

This was our second visit in four years and we received a pleasant surprise on check in as we were upgraded to a self contained unit in the building next door. The view from the lounge was great as we overlooked the marina. We had a pleasant four night stay and being able to cook our evening meals and do... More

If I could give it 4.5, I would. Everything was wonderful except for the 20 minute wait to check in. I did call to tell them I was on the way from the ferry, but no one answered. Most people would be mad, but I wasn't in a hurry so I didn't care. I ended up getting placed in June's... More

I am from Ketchikan originally and was back for a few days to show some traveling relatives the sights. I didn't want to stay in a hotel this trip so I decided to try this property. First of all, if you want room service and the usual 4 or 5 star MODERN hotel room, restaurant and attention, try the Cape... More

This hotel is quaint, great location and piece of Ketchikan's history. It had everything that a name brand hotel would have in the room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They picked us up at the airport ferry. The hotel does have steep stairs to the rooms but the view from the room was worth the climb. Thank you... More

Three nights here in the "June suite" Full kitchen and dining area great TV in the living room, all at no extra cost. We were expecting a standard room. We overlooked famous Creek Street where all the cruise ship folks start their adventure so it was noisy in the morning. All in all a pleasant stay.Cafe has excellent pastry and... More

Contrary to another reviewer, I had no trouble reserving at Hotels.com. The desk is at times unattended, but staff can be reached using the dial phone on the desk. Free transportation is provided to ships and the airport, and for carrying luggage up the steep steps (no elevator). Rooms 1 and 3 face the street and harbor, and I have... More

The location was great, right downtown and close to everything. The hotel was quaint and appropriately rehabbed. With the lack of circulation, our room got very warm even in the cooler weather. A ceiling fan would have done wonders. Our attempt to check in early resulted in messages that were not returned.

Dear Dave: Thank you for selecting the Inn at Creek Street & New York Hotel. We’re happy to hear you found your stay convenient, and enjoyed our historic hotel. As for the room temperature, we’ve received several comments this summer from guests. This is an issue our community—and the rest of Alaska—has not had to face in the past. However,... More
