We needed a place to stay for one night in the Soldotna area, so we found the Log Cabin Inn online. We got in last minute so we were grateful to have a room. The accommodations were fine. It felt like a room in someone's house in the basement, but the bed was comfortable and we slept well. The owner... More

we stayed here for 2 days. it's a pretty good location as far as being near Kenai and Soldotna, so that is a plus. but the accommodations are kind of lacking in our opinion. there are 3 private cabins next to the main house. i'm not sure what they're like inside...maybe that's where the great reviews come from? we stayed... My parents and I stayed in a room on the 2nd floor for 3 nights. It was a really nice place to stay. We went fishing at 5 one of the days we were there, and Theresa prepared a hot breakfast for us at 4:30 am. The coffee is strong and delicious too. The dining room has big picture frame... More

Quiet property with a convenient location and a beautiful view! Rustic lodge with a nice common area for eating, reading, or mingling with other guests. Our room was comfortable and clean. Theresa and her children are the perfect hosts -- friendly, helpful, informative, and efficient. Breakfasts were delicious, and Theresa went out of her way to make sure you got... More

We were there for the fishing. Teresa made us feel welcome and at home from the first moment we arrived. She sent us off in the mornings (very early mornings) with a fresh cooked breakfast and great lunch. We returned in the evenings to a wonderful and pleasing lodge. There were eagles, beaver (pond right along side of the lodge), even... More

This lodge was a little homely, but we enjoyed it. The host runs the business with her children helping out. The room we stayed in was in the basement and a little dark with an outdated bathroom but was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed great conversation with the host and a couple of her children as well. They set us... More

We were referred to the Log Cabin by the Kenai Tourist Office and they did us a great service. The charming and helpful Theresa runs a huge log cabin with simple en-suite rooms in the house and 3 cabins outside. If you want a swanky, sterile hotel room, this is not for you, but if you want to experience Alaskan... More

We stayed here one night and were very happy. It is a rustic log lodge with lots of open space and nice sitting areas. The owner was very helpful. The breakfast was home made and yummy. The owners children were very courteous and friendly when we met them. The room was clean with three beds and a recliner. I have... More

My 10 year old son and I recently went on a silver salmon fishing trip in Alaska, and had the pleasure of staying at the Log Cabin Inn in Kenai. I had been to the area multiple times over the past 20 years with friends and family, but I wanted this time to be very special for my son. I... More
