The cabins are nicely furnished and clean. It was like staying in an apartment in the woods. The property is quite beautiful, and well maintained. The price was very reasonable as well. Unfortunately, the owner was going through personnel issues so there wasn't an on site manager or anyone on the property during our stay. We ended up having to... More

Thank you for your feedback. My new Manager started May 15th on location. I was not annoyed with this Guest. It was 6AM in the morning and I was still half asleep. I gave them instructions over the phone on how to turn on their Shower which did not help so I drove over there and as I arrived they... More

We all agree that the accommodations are nice. The grounds were clean and well kept and the staff was pleasant and helpful. If you are not familiar with AK the lodge location will allow you to travel in many directions experiencing the beautiful Alaskan landscapes. We had plenty of room for the large group of friends. Everyone enjoyed the trip.

My wife and I stayed a week at the Salmon Catcher Lodge and did numerous ishing trips for Halibut and Salmon. The trips were all arranged by Mr. Johnson and went very well as we were able to fish with some of the most prolific guides in the region.Ee caught a lot of quality fish. The cabin was kept very clean each... Just came back last week. The place had no manager to help out while I was there. Terry (Owner) mentioned to me that he just lost his manager, so he pretty much took care of almost everything himself. His son and friends, all just graduated from high school, are nice kids. They helped out packing fish and did a very... More

I arrived around 2 pm and walked in, no one was home, had to call on my cell. 2nd, I left and when I came back the front door was locked (I did not have the code at this time) The milk (1galon 1/2 gone) was spoiled and the half and half was 4 days past due. There were dirty... More

r My response to this Guest's remarks are as follows. She showed up several hours earlier than published check in time. We were on site with the front door naturally locked as it is not only has lots of valuable art work but more importantly my 2 and 4 year old Daughters onsite. We welcomed her and advised she was... I was turned away from the typical hotels during an impressively busy event weekend in the Kenai. I was referred to Terry at Salmon Catcher Lodge and boy what a treat. I conduct business often in Kenai and I will always look to Terry for lodging. His family did an excellent job making us feel welcome and special. I would... More

We very much enjoyed our stay.. The room felt like home. Terry was very accommodating. He set us up with a fishing trip - froze, packed and shipped our fish, and told us where to go around town. Definitely off the beatin path, and above and beyond any typical hotel stay. Kara and Colleen

We actually stayed at the B&B part of wthis lodge and had a wonderful time. The view was incredible, the house was immaculate and the owners are very nice people. I highly recommend this getaway for anyone wanting a little R&R. The only thing that would have made our trip better was if we liked to fish...

Traveled with a group of six adults and had a great stay. The cabin was clean and well furnished and the staff was happy to help if you needed anything else. Bernie did a great job with our fishing charters and helped with all of our last minute requests. The area is centrally located between Homer and Seward making it... More

We were a group of 20 and the accommodations were wonderful! The entire property is clean, furnishings are up to date, and the service is super. They will book all your fishing excursions and take care of processing the fish. The hot cooked breakfast was fabulous and the tips on local things to see and places to go were so... More
