I recently stayed at Grandma's for 5 days on a business trip to Juneau. I can't rave about this place enough; from the luxurious rooms, to the super attentive staff, to the great food, to the wonderful location. It reminds me of a Swiss hotel it's that good. When I return to Juneau, I wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else.... more

Grandma's was truly just like home. The entire staff was warm, friendly, and very helpful. We were fortunate to be able to choose our own room which was not an easy task. All of the rooms we were shown had their own distinct country charm with a wonderful whirlpool tub. We made our selection and enjoyed 6 wonderful nights. Our... more

My wife and I just returned from a business/pleasure trip to Juneau. When I was booking a hotel, I relied on tripadvisors rating system and most it not all of the hotels fell well below what we were looking for. We settled on Grandmas featherbed and I couldnt be happier. Although it is billed as a Best Western, it is... more

Maybe I'm getting grumpy in my old age, but I was disappointed to get an upgrade from the sister hotel just up the road. I usually stay to the Country Lane, which is an easy walk to the airport and has spacious rooms and guest laundry facilities. Those were the attributes I wanted when I came back from a trip... more

My wife and I stayed at this lovely hotel on our honeymoon. I have nothing but great things to say about it, we felt right at home! The jacuzzi and the feather bed in our room made us feel like royalty! The service from the front desk, van driver, and the restaurant were all outstanding! I HIGHLY recommend this hotel... more

Although we did not stay at this place, we ate dinner here one night. Food was awesome with quite a variety. After we visited here, we wished we stayed here. There was some charm attached to this place. Very neat and safe. People were extremely warm and friendly. The place may not look that good in the pictures but it's... more

This was one of the friendliest places we stayed in during a three week visit to Alaska. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast was very good, and all freshly cooked and the room we had was very large (with the first double bath I ever saw in a hotel room). The beds were comfortable - my... more

My husband and I spent 3 nights at Grandma's Feather Bed last month while on a trip through Alaska. Everything was clean, nicely decorated in Victorian/country style, with a very comfortable bed. Personnel were always pleasant and helpful. Our room had an elevated jetted tub with shower. The only negatives were that you have to step up and over the... more

Our best of three hotels that we stayed at in Juneau. Comfortable, Clean, Cozy and Country Decor. Beds are like the name implies, featherbeds with decor to match the comfy surroundings. Breakfast and Dinner in the little restaurant were really nice. Not so far from anything if you plan to rent a car. We especially loved the large Jacuzzi in... more
