The location of this hotel is great. We got a room with a waterview and obviously neglected to mention non-smoking. The entire floor smelled like smoke when you got off the elevator. The view was great and thankfully you could open the window to air out the room. The bed was just OK, basically this place is for the locale.... more

We stayed at the Goldbelt one night as part of a Cruise West small ship cruise down the inside passage. Our room was spacious with an adequate bathroom and was very clean. I stayed at the Goldbelt for six days in February, 2007. Downtown Juneau is compact. While the Goldbelt is at one edge, it was convenient to everything.
