The Wolf House is a great bed and breakfast. The atmosphere was tranquil. The breakfast was superb - the best cooking in Juneau, easily. The chef was very pleasant and accommodating. Actually, the cooking was easily the best in Juneau. 2 Alaskan Brew Co beers are kept on tap at all times and are self-serve (!) Some of the rooms... more

The lodge is situated high enough so that the view is spectacular. The accomodations were charming and more than comfortable. And Jeff, the owner, was great. Took my husband and grandsons fishing. Yes, they caught salmon. We took over the entire lodge, so we really felt like it was home. Barbara was more than kind to us. Breakfast was yummy,... more

My extended family stayed at Alaska Wolf Lodge in August 2009. The lodge is very warm and inviting with beautiful views and great service. Jeff took my family fishing on his boat and they had a great time. They all caught huge salmon and Jeff kindly cleaned and shipped the fish to us. more

The Wolf House is a good place to stay near downtown Juneau. Agree with the below posts that this is not the place if you are expecting full B&B hospitality. The caretakers do a fine job and the rooms are nice (though dark). If you are looking for a hotel type stay in a suite near downtown, I recommend the... more

We had a master bedroom with a porch that was converted to a bathroom (with only a tub and hand held shower). A folding screen gave an appearance of privacy. Small kitchenette. Too dark. The teens had a room with two twins and a queen, a common room and a small kitchen. There is, however, nothing to do in the... more

Great hospitality, view, accommodations, location, and breakfasts -- this lodge has everything. We chose the Alaska Wolf Lodge as our wedding destination, and we felt very welcome and totally accommodated for our wedding plans. Getting married at the Alaska Wolf Lodge left us with cherished memories of our special day. We also received great tourist tips and information to add... more

We didn't want to stay in one of the hotels in town so opted for this, partly due to the TA recommendations and because they had a nice looking web site and seemed efficient when I called. The location is not great, plus the rooms do overlook water, but there is a main highway bewteen you and the water which... more

The facility is quite nice even if it is located near a busy road which can be heard at night. The breakfast cook is very nice and helpful and breakfasts are very good although they only seemed available at a uniform time of 8:30. This b&b suffers from the lack of an on premise owner. When we arrived, there was... more

The staff was relaxed, talkative and helped us with ideas to fill some of the free time we had while in Juneau. If we were there for fishing, we would have had access to the perfect person for local tidbits of info. It's close enough to downtown to be convenient, but far enough out be a good Juneau B&B destination... more

It is a very nice home in a quiet location. We stayed during the off season but there was a soccer game in town so there were other folks in the B&B the same time we were there. There was some confusion on the first night and we were not in the original room that we were originally booked it... more
