Not the greatest Best Western I've stayed at, I've stayed in worse though. We were only in Homer one night and I was tired. Bed was comfortable, room was clean enough. View in the annex building they stuck us in was a parking lot. The person at the front desk told us the breakfast was great, Not even edible would... More

We stayed here one night of a an 11-day driving trip. The property is aging. The thermostat in our room did not work - making for a very warm night. However, the breakfast was very good and the view from the breakfast room was tremendous! (Homer is quite small and there did not appear to be any good alternatives in... More

We were able to book two rooms on very short notice. They were both very clean and up to date! They even included a microwave and refrigerate! The breakfast was the best Free continental I have ever had!! Great room at a great price! We will be back!

My daughter had booked a hostel for her fiancé, my husband and I in Homer. Upon arrival my husband and I found it a bit too "rustic" for our taste. So we called the BW and got their last nonsmoking room. It was very comfortable, definitely an improvement over the hostel! It was very clean, it was also relatively new.... More

We recently traveled to Alaska on a family trip for our son's HS graduation gift. Pre-Paid for our 2 night stay at Bidarka Inn in Homer. Our trip was during the Willow Fire, our bus trip from Denali was held up because of road closure, we called the hotel front desk to let them know we could not make our... More

This was our second stay at this Best Western Bidarka Inn in Homer, Alaska. We stayed here two years ago for about 3 nights and this time we stayed for four nights. They offer a wonderful breakfast with lots of hot choices each morning. They are always friendly and this time we stored our fish that we caught from our... More

I have never been to Homer, AK before but overall I found this hotel a great deal to my liking. The 2 queen beds and 4-person hot tub was a bit of overkill, though! This facility offers a very decent hot breakfast each morning. But the view from the dining room takes the cake! I saw people taking pictures from... More

Remember motels that had that sticky 'soda spilled on the rug' feel and phones that had a cord attached? This Best Western Bidarka has both! But, there are some positives to this 'inn'. It has a nice shower head with good pressure, has plenty of electrical outlets, is pretty quiet and also has a great breakfast and the breakfast room has... More

This hotel is an easy walk to the Islands & Ocean Visitor Center, the Beluga Estuary, and the useful part of town (it is still a few miles out to the Homer Spit). The hotel is quiet, has a good continental breakfast and a helpful staff.
