Good friends told us about this B&B. What a gem of a place!!! We cannot say enough good things about it. . . . . The entire place was designed and hand-built by Brigitte, (from Bavaria) and her husband, Willie Suter (originally from Switzerland). The drive to the B&B, situated in the hills of Homer was interesting with lot's of... More

My husband and I loved staying for a night, I wish we could have stayed longer! Amazing craftsmanship throughout the entire b&b, a lovely garden, views of Kachemak Bay...incredible. Definitely an Alaskan experience. If you are looking for an comfortable experience in one of the most interesting (lots of personality!) and beautiful places in Homer you have found it! One... More

I had chosen this place because of the location. In this we were not disappointed. However, if you choose to run a B & B you should consider what would make your guests comfortable. It is more a matter of attitude than actual expense and effort. We were on vacation in an area where the sun does not set until... More

The place is quite incredible with the decor and comfort. However, the owner Willie is in the wrong business. His wife is quite the opposite and very nice. We called around 9 pm that we were having dinner down the road and will check in after dinner. He told me this was not a hotel and we needed to check... More

This B and B has a great location with an outstanding view of Homer, the bay and the surrounding mountains. The host is very concerned that guests strictly adhere to his rules and is not reluctant to make jokes about his guests.

We stayed two nights at this B & B and absolutely loved it. The food was spectacular. The first morning we had a special egg dish cooked over carmelized onions and fruit and more... So much food! The second morning was smoked fish, lox, fruit, and wonderful bread and condiments. The room was well appointed and comfortable. We had the... More

My wife and I stayed three nights but the novelty of Brigitte's wore off after a day. The owners are very environmentally conscious (that's a good thing) but air-drying towels apparently without softeners left them as rough as 40-grit sandpaper (that's a bad thing.) I would also say they're frugal when it comes to breakfasts: light on the eggs and... More

GREAT!!!! Brigitte and Willie are the best hosts ever!! They are a wonderful couple that share some wonderful conversation, food and drink. You can tell they love each other and sharing their beautiful home with everyone. I look forward to staying there again when i come back to homer. Thanks again for such a wonderful time!

The website advertising is very decieving beware. Bring slippers means not allowing you to wear shoes in the cabin. Curtains were translucent to thin for summer time sunshine if you want to sleep, good luck. The water pressure was lacking and took forever to get hot. Once the water was hot you could not adjust the temperature. They are not... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night in September. The cabin was very roomy, private and had lots of natural light. The property is situated at the top of a hill, so the view is lovely. The gardens and grounds were absolutely gorgeous. I was very impressed by the garden - even in September, there were still lots... More
