Homer, Alaska's finest small bed and breakfast inn! Mouth-watering three course breakfasts. Deep, comfy, warm, cozy, beds adorned with fine linens, squeaky clean accommodations, relaxing old world decor. Antiques. In town, walking distance to shops, galleries, and restaurants. Lovely view, too.

Can't say enough good things about our stay with Coletta at the Beary Patch. We spent two nights there at the end of a two week road trip in Alaska and we were all in agreement it was the best stay of the trip. The home is beautifully decorated and immaculate, and Coletta is a wonderful hostess. Breakfasts were great and Coletta gave us great advice on what to do and where to eat while in Homer. Would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at the Beary Patch was great! Each room had its own style, and all had luxurious accommodations (sheets, towels, etc). Our hostess, Coletta, was gracious, kind and helpful. She knew all the best places to see and eat and was a great asset in getting us hooked up with boat tours and fishing trips and scenic outings. AND what a great cook! Breakfast pastries were out of this world. Can't wait to go back.

Even before I arrived at the B&B, Collette was instrumental in assisting the planning my trip thru the Kenai Peninsula. This B&B is comfortable and super clean. The location is great as is the food. I would highly recommend this B&B and will be staying there again if I am back in Homer.

We throughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Beary Patch B and B. Our room was top notch and very clean. The bed and pillows were wonderful and the entire home was exquisitely decorated. Coletta had every detail covered. The breakfasts were wonderful especially her baked goods...white chocolate scones were to die for. We would highly recommend a stay. You will not be disappointed.

What a pleasant surprise this B & B was. My wife and I stayed in this home for 2 nights, in the Beary Romantic room. The facility was exceptionally clean and well decorated, and provided a spectacular view from the lounge and breakfast area on the upper floor. It is very conveniently located close to town and major activities. The hostess, Colletta, was very helpful in helping us plan activities and restaurant reservations. I would say the most enjoyable feature of our stay was the breakfasts (my favorite meal). Colletta prepared exceptional dishes each day such as frittatas, quiches, and coffee cakes to die for. You will not go away hungry as is the case with many B & B's. Each of the 3 rooms offered have private baths. The one downside we experienced was the unusually late scheduling of breakfast, which used up a great deal of our touring time in the morning. All in all we had a wonderful experience.

This was our last BnB to stay in on our trip to Alaska. Our two night stay was one of the best. Our hostess, Coletta, was very friendly and outgoing. She has a lovely home and beautifully decorated with lovely views of mountains and the bay. She is an excellent cook. Our breakfasts were superb! It is a short walk to the little town of Homer. You would not be disappointed if you chose to stay here.

We stayed for 2 nights in June 2015, we had the Bear's den bedroom. The room was very nicely furnished and very clean and a really comfy bed. The whole of the bed and breakfast is superbly decorated with loads of lovely antiques. Coletta made fabulous breakfasts which kept us going all day. We enjoyed the comfort of the common area and it was lovely to chat there in the evening to Coletta and the other guests. Would highly recommend.

We stayed three nights at the Beary Patch B&B. The room was lovely, spacious and very comfortable. We enjoyed conversations with the other guests over Coletta's wonderful breakfasts. Not far from galleries and restaurants. You will need a car to visit the Spit area.

My husband and I just spent two nights at the Beary Patch B&B in Homer, Alaska. We stayed in the Beary Romantic Room and what a delight! The amenities here really make guests feel at home. The house is decorated in lovely antiques and Alaskan decor. The common area with a small kitchen set up provided a place to relax in the evening. In the morning, the window view of the pristine water and mountains were enhanced by Coletta's gorgeous wildflower garden. We we arrived, I wasn't sure what to expect because it's located in a neighborhood of homes and doesn't appear to be a lodge, but we were pleasantly surprised! The bedding was lush and a full Alaskan breakfast was served on antique china. We really enjoyed visiting with Coletta too. She's a gracious and warm hostess! I would recommend this B&B to anyone traveling in the Homer area.

My wife and I just returned from a 2 night stay at the Beary Patch B&B in Homer, AK. Coletta's B&B made us feel right at home. Clean, comfortable and nicely furnished room. Wonderful breakfast...bring your appetite! Nice view of Katchemak Bay and only a few minute walk from the great restaurants and art galleries in near downtown Homer. Highly recommend as we plan on returning on our next visit.
