I stayed at June's with 2 friends for 1 night. We were traveling from Seward and were off to Kachemak State Park for some camping the next day. This was our first time in Homer, and I found June's randomly from Booking.com. It is safe to say that I had no idea what to expect! June's was a pleasant surprise.... More

We stayed in the queen room downsairs with a great view of the bay. The room is very small but since there is plenty of space in the common areas, and we were out exploring the area all day long anyhow, this wasn't really an issue. Unfortunately, the private bathroom across the hall was pretty dirty so we actually cleaned... More

I went to Homer for a long weekend with friends. We had all lived in Nome for a number of years and June had lived there much longer than any of us. We had beds in the loft, has its own bathroom, which I felt was like living in a child's 'playhouse'. It was so very charming. There is also... More

We stayed there for a few days in the summer of 2011. June is a character that is sure to keep you entertained over a welcoming glass of wine or home made breakfast. We had a room in the basement that did not get to bright during endless days of summer. The place is also super clean - I don't... More

Marvellous location in front of glaciers and Pacific ocean. Comfortable B&B in the top of the hill. Nice room. Warm welcome. Lovely guest room with TV, books, water, coffee, etc. Junee is a lovely hostess who tells you beautiful stories about her life. Delicious breakfast (marvellous homemade pancakes, bacon, etc.). Just a bad thing : the bathroom was not clean.... More

I've stayed with June at her B&B every time I visit Homer for the past five 4th of July vacations. She is one of the most amazing women I've ever met. At 83 years old, she is a firecracker of a story teller and makes you feel instantly at home, like you're part of the family in her house. She... More

We stayed at Junee's for three nights in June 2010. Our host June is fun to talk with, and she accomodated our needs during our stay. Her knowledge about Homer area and Alaska is extentive. We leaned some of the histrical facts & stories that we didn't know before. Her bed & breakfast is decorated nicely with Swedish style fabrics, antiques... More

Junee is fun, interesting, has lots of stories to tell and she runs a great B/B. We had a ball there and I would love to go there again. Everything was clean as a pin and the beds were super! There were moose grazing in the front yard early in the morning. I loved it! Great home cooked breakfast, too.

Nice B & B overlooking Kachemak Bay, Glaciers and Mountains. Ms. June is a retired school teacher and daughter of a Nome gold mining Father. If your not interested in miles and miles of interesting conversation and stories your in the wrong place. We had a very enjoyable stay in a downstairs suite with private entrance. Where else can you... More
