This was our last stop on our driving tour of the Kenai Peninsula so we were tired. We had stayed in a variety of accomodations along the way and when we got to the Ocean House we let out a huge sigh of relief because it was everything we had hoped for an more! The Innkeeper was helpful and accomodating.... more

Loved the Ocean House Inn! Our host was very gracious and offered us suggestions as to what to see, where to eat, etc. while we were there for 2 days. Homer itself was a great little town and the views from the inn were just amazing! The inn is right on the ocean inlet, the mountains just across, the famous... more

Stayed at the inn for 6 wonderful nights and can't say enough about how wonderful everything was. The location was perfect....between the town and the spit. The view was outstanding...you could see the mountains, the glaciers and the spit....and it had its own private steps down to the beach. The host was very gracious and helpful....I don't know how anyone... more

We stayed at the Ocean House Inn for two days. The property was clean but somewhat unusual. Our unit had a kitchenette (no cooking facilities) which was sufficient for what we wanted as we did not plan to cook. The beds were quite comfortable, and it was a quiet area. However, the rooms had some odd features such as a... more

We rented a suite (1 king bed) with an amazing view of the ocean and Homer Spit. We found the innkeeper to be very friendly and conversational and he showed us a detailed map and highlighted places to east, visit and see panoramic views of Homer. The suite was nice, but it needed to be more practical (e.g., there were... more

Pretty view. Rooms just average not very clean would not walk on carpet without my shoes as suggested by sign on door. Never saw or heard a vaccum cleaner. No dresser just an old wire rack to hang a few clothes. Bed was old sheets felt unclean pillows need replacing. Sheets were put on side ways and were never changed.... more

The owners of Ocean House Inn don't understand customer service at all. They seem to think that dirty, unkept rooms and amenities that either don't work or don't exist is okay. The kind size beds are terrible and they have cheap "egg carton" foam pads that bunch up when you sit or sleep on them. If you have a bad... more

We were very happy with our accommodations at the Ocean House Inn. We stayed two nights in an ocean front room/suite with a private entrance (queen bed, private bath, coffee maker, microwave, fireplace). I'm really glad we chose to stay here rather than out on the spit. It is a quiet, peaceful setting with incredible views of the mountains, the... more

Great location with sounds of the sea, but musty, dank & mildewy interior on Suite 3. This suite also adjoins the check-in area via a door so noisey up on the bathroom level (4 steps up from room). King size bed in need of replacing - egg crate topper just a bandaid. Very limited water pressure in shower, although everything... more
