My sister and I stayed 4 nights at the Chocolate Drop Lodge and loved it. The food, the scenery and the relaxing atmosphere this time of year was just what we needed for a nice vacation. Huck and Samantha are the best! Some updates and new carpeting in the big living area would be great! See you again next year!

My wife and I were on our first visit to Alaska, and stayed at the Chocolate Drop Lodge. The view just grew as we climbed the hill east of Homer. The lodge is an impressive log building in a big, open field, covered with wildflowers. There's an unobstructed view of Kachemak Bay, with a classic Alaska mountain panorama on the... More

On a recent family trip to Alaska, we stayed at the Chocolate Drop Lodge (10 of us). Huck and Sam are the new managers (new this season) and are striving to give the best experience possible. They are friendly, down-to-earth, open, and helpful. Service: We've stayed at several B&Bs and Huck and Sam definitely have what it takes to make... More

We stayed at the Chocolate Drop Lodge (Bed and Breakfast) as advised by our boat captain (halibut fishing) Captain Steve Button. The facility is top notch. We had a lovely stay her in abeautiful room with lovely hosts in Huck and Sam. They have not been there long but make you feel very welcome. Their breakfast is the best we have had in Alaska. Sittin in teh spa on the deck overlooking the bay and the glacier is great. Would reccommend the place to anyone.
