Nice park! Simple, but had a fantastic view of the ocean. Easy to get to charter fishing boats. Seafood on the spit was delicious! There's NO big supermarket stores here, but you don't need them. This small "fishing town" offers SO much! And the "locals" are extremely NICE to all the tourist! Absolutely "loved" Homer, Alaska!

Wonderful few nights in Homer. Fished and caught limits for all on our boat. Highly recommended. Enjoyed the beaches and fishing town. Nice restaurants and good fish. Everything about double priced as compared to our prices in North Carolina, bit only about the same to 50% higher than most nice beach resort towns. My favorite fishing trip ever! My largest... I would say as campground in Homer go this has the west location. Why? well you can walk to the restaurant and shops or you can stroll on the beach or you can access the bike path or you can cruise to the a fishing hold. It has several layers of service, full hook up or dry, and it has... More

This campground is in a great location. Homer Spit has wonderful views. We camped here two nights in our rental RV. Before we came we did a night with full hook-ups so we were all set. We used the dump station when we left. We reserved a beachfront site months in advance. The view was excellent. Since it was windy... More

This is a nice spot on the spit, on the water. Clean restrooms, showers, laundry, quiet hours no generators. Beautiful full moon this morning. Easy walk to gift shops, restaurants, bars, and and on the beach.

In the summertime, Homer Alaska is a very busy place! The boat harbor is bustling with people who are taking fishing charters for halibut fishing and sightseeing. There are many small shops to buy gifts, and several small restaurants and places to eat fresh seafood. All of this action is at the very end of the road in Homer, often... More

This campground is in the Perfect Location to walk to the beach. All the front row view campsites were taken or others had made reservations to hold them. But we enjoyed camping in the last row facing the condos blocking our view. The kids got to ride bicycles. It was close to bathrooms and blocked the wind. The bathrooms were... More

We reserved three months in advance for a tent spot on the beach, two nights set us back $64.50. The bathrooms were kept very clean and stocked which was much appreciated. Did not use their showers but they only charge $1.00 for guests. Check in was easy and our spot was easy to find. Some people didn't stick to their... More

Right on the water, right in the middle of things on Homer Spit. Walk to the marina, fishing charter boats, nice restaurants, gift shops, coffee shops and the Salty Dawg! RV sites can be with electricity, or electricity & water. Or right on the water front with no services. Clean showers for $1.

Every other year we go to Alaska and rent an RV and every year we stay at the Homer Spit Campground. The staff is very friendly and the view is out of this world. The facilities are clean and did I mention the view is out of this world?! Also, very reasonable prices.
