Our family thoroughly enjoyed the spacious accommodations, fabulous views and peaceful-homey feel. The staff met every need with a smile and we would definitely return to the Driftwood Inn the next time we journey to Homer. Hands down a suburb value and great family destination. We loved the short walk to the water and hiking along the coast.

We stayed in Homer at the Driftwood Inn before doing some camping. The room was only slightly more expensive than the yurts we were camping in! Such a terrific value. The room was clean, cozy, and we had impeccable service. The staff here truly cares about your stay and went out of their way to be helpful, even offering us... More

We were visiting Homer for a friend's wedding and stayed at the Driftwood Inn right on the coast. We had an amazing view of the water, and the room was spacious, clean and very cozy. The location was within walking distance of a number of places to dine or to grab some baked goods or a drink. It was also... More

My husband and I have stayed at Kachemak Cottage several times during the summer. We lived in Alaska many years but now live in the lower 48 and travel north in the hot months with friends to show them the great state. This is our favorite place on the Kenai Peninsula. The location is fantastic. A bald eagle was on... More

Beautiful location and very knowledgeable locals who can assist with any activity you may want to do and maybe spin a yarn or two in the process. Had the Ship's Quarters for a night, room was clean, bed was great and everything is as described. Highly recommended.

We loved our cozy little room, our easy stroll to the beach (and a couple good restaurants), the accommodating staff and the reasonable price. I never had to wait for the shared bathroom (and even during my morning shower, didn't seem to have anyone waiting on me). We had a partial view of the ocean, little coffee maker in our... More

My 8 year old son and I stayed here over a weekend for a wedding. The room exactly matched the description - for a very low price, we had everything we needed. Though the room was tiny (as described), it was so quaint, both my son and I felt like we were on a ship and so loved that aspect... More

A charming spot with helpful staff, easy walking to good restaurants and an excellent bakery. Like most places in Alaska it is not luxurious but will meet your needs. You can see bald eagles perched nearby. This is the only place I stay in Homer.

The Driftwood is a cozy little Inn right in the heart of historic Homer, AK. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. I travel to Homer frequently and the Driftwood is my new destination of choice.

In August, my cousins and I stayed at the Seaside Lodge. We loved it. The lodge was beautiful, and very clean. We had the 3 rooms that have the view of the bay, which it amazing. The common room is very comfortable with huge windows looking out over the bay. The washer and dryer are conveniently located. There is a... More
