The history of the building is really used to its best advantage in this fully updated B&B. The host was courteous and helpful, the coffee and tea bar was always fully stocked and tidy. The rooms were surprisingly roomy for a historic property. The common area was inviting with beautiful views of the bay. I really enjoyed my visit to... More

This old wooden two-storey looking out towards the sound has a creaky staircase that slopes a bit to the left as you go up but you soon get used to it. It adds atmosphere! Our room with en suite was clean and the bed comfortable. There's a sitting room with chairs and books and coffee/tea making that guests share. breakfast... More

My husband & I stayed here for 2 Nts in Sept 13. Beautiful 'old style' building with amazing character. Including the sloping stair case, loved it :) Only 3 rooms in House, 1 ensuite & 2 rooms which share 1 bathroom. Rooms had lovely 'Laura Ashley' style decor and were very clean & comfortable. Great bed & really soft pillows... More

Old Town B&B is perfectly located. Three top notch restaurants are within one hundred yards. The breakfast vouchers are for breakfast at those same restaurants. We visited Homer in late September, so crowds at breakfast were not a problem. The food is excellent so it's no wonder that there could be lines. Aside from food, Bishop Beach is less than... More

I stayed at this B&B in early July for two nights. This was my splurge from staying in hostels, and I did find the accommodation comfortable. The bed was large with lovely linens. The B&B was kept clean, but I did not see the staff at all. They had (helpfully) left me a note explaining check in, but it would... More

Nice room up some oddly canted stairs in an old western-style building, bath across the hall. Very quiet, front room has a view of the sea, short walk to the beach. Very good breakfast is in a café next door which doesn't open until 7 a.m., so early morning trips are a problem; try and make arrangements the night before.

The room was nice with a nice lounging area. Nothing fancy, great location. The only issue was the breakfast. On Sunday it is at a nearby restaurant, about a block away. Good luck getting in. We got there 15 minutes after they opened with 30 people in line. So much for breakfast.

This place was recommended to us and we were very pleased to be able to spend one night here at short notice. We just loved it and our hosts could not have been nicer.Would love to come back but will make sure to book in advance.

A very nice place. We had the end room and if you are not used to the continuous day light is very bright. The back Room would be better. The only room with the two beds and private bath the best. Very clean and well taken care of. Hostess was terrific and made us very welcome. Breakfast lacking. We walked... More

My 23-year-old daughter and I had a peaceful stay here for 2 nights. There was a lot of TLC put into the decor in this historic building, and breakfast was especially lovely. I wouldn't recommend this place, however, for people challenged by stairs. Access to rooms is by way of a narrow, crooked staircase--charming as an architectural feature, but not... More
