We were pleasantly surprised when we entered our room. Even though it looked circa 1950 from the outside, the interior was clean, simple and spacious. We celebrated our 50th anniversary while staying here. What a great surprise to enter our room and find flowers, chocolates and a gift viewbook for our anniversary. Ocean Shores Motel has amazing views of Kachemak Bay. The Motel did not offer much in ammenities but the rooms were clean, comfortable and very spacious. The buildings were a bit run down but we weren't there just to stay in our room anyway. You definitely need a car to get anywhere from this Motel, it was a short drive... more

When you drive up to this place, it appears to be nothing special ...and the room itself was clean but actually nothing special...BUT, be sure to ask for a room in the first set of units facing the bay.... the view is fabulous and it has a small balcony on which you can sit for hours just watching the little... more
