Had a lovely time staying here last summer. Rosy was just the most gracious host, going out of her way to help us decide what to do, where to go for dinner, etc. She knew a lot about the area, had maps and coupons ready for us to use. The rooms were comfortable (we were 2 couples) and the view... More

The best part of A Rosy Outlook is the beautiful garden overlooking the spit. The hosts are very nice and we took a bottle of wine out on the terrace every night. The only downside is that the house is very small so there is no other common space and the room we had didn't have a window. Other than... More

We can not say enough about what a great place Rosy's B&B is. They treated us like family and was very helpful when asked questions. There home was always open if we would be out and come back home. It was our home away from home. The view from the front window is breath taking and such a beautiful flower... More

Rosy and Erless were extremely welcoming and hospitable. They were very helpful in assisting me and my special needs. Both were very kind to my mother and myself. The beautiful, home made breakfast with the fresh picked berries was refreshing and nutritious. I absolutely loved her flower garden and spent a lot of time enjoying it and taking pictures. There... From booking to checkout Rosy and her husband were the nicest people ever. Rosy made us feel right at home from the very first phone call. She gave us tons of information and references to local spots. Our room was small but adequate and a nice private bathroom both of which was well decorated in pretty blue. The views of... More

Rosy and a mom moose with her twins greeted us as we drove up the mountain and into Rosy's driveway. The view from Rosy's home is breathtaking! It's a perfect view of the Homer Spit. Rosy and Earliss were filled with info on where to go, what to do, and how to get there. Her breakfasts were awesome, and large!... More

Rosy and Erless were fantastic hosts; the view lives up to its hype; their home is comfortable and, seriously, the bed was the best nights' sleep I had in three weeks of traveling. Rosy passed along some great information and gave me some great suggestions for my time in Homer. I cannot recommend ARO enough!

Rosie has a piece of heaven that she shares with her guests. The Forget-Me-Not room was great but the wonderful view of Kachemak Bay and the garden flowers were simply superior to any place we have stayed. We had our lunch on the front yard deck while looking down at the Homer Spit; we could see snow-capped mountains across the... More
