Denali Lakeview Inn is about 20 miles north of Denali National Park & Preserve – without construction traffic it is a 10-minute drive, with construction traffic you can count on a 20-50 minute drive to and from Denali National Park & Preserve. Denali Lakeview Inn is far enough removed from cruise tourists and lodgings. Black Diamond Restaurant and horse drawn... More

My husband and I very much loved Denali Lakeview Inn! I feel this Inn is the hidden jewel of Alaska. We stayed two nights in the Wildflower Room with a king sized bed. It was very clean, had easily enough room for two people and the bathroom was quite nice with a huge spic and span tub. The view from... More

This inn has good prices for fall travel. We stayed in the Blue Moose room which is in the far right (south-west?) corner on the walk-in level. This is a small room and there’s not a convenient place for a lot of luggage. There is a closet, but with just one coat hanger it is not very practical. Just outside... More

Our room (Deck Room) was comfortable with a large deck, king bed, table and two chairs and reclilner. The kitchen area had a toaster, microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot and dishes. The room was clean and bed comfortable. You leave your shoes at the entrance (Alaska custom) which keeps carpets clean. Breakfast was left in refrigerator and they packed us a lunch... More

We stayed here last month for 3 nights. We spent the 1st night in Purple Caribou and the next 2 nights in Moon Dream (i think) as they didn't have availability for all 3 nights in the same room. As other travelers have mentioned, it was weird not to check in at a hotel you are staying. The room was... More

There were two of us and we stayed for 2 nights in early September. We were in the MIDNIGHT SUN room, top floor, end unit. This B&B is exceptionally clean!! The staff was readily available to answer questions. The other reviews seem not to happy with the breakfast, but it was exactly as advertised and what we expected and offered... More

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by this Inn. The room was comfortable and clean, and the views from the deck over the lake were spectacular with the vibrant autumn colors in early September (see photos). We stayed in the Alpine Meadows room because I had a broken leg, and did not want to climb stairs. The room was... More

What makes this place so special is the spectacular view from the room and the nice deck. Breakfast was disappointing but I guess it got the job done. It consisted of a plate, wrapped in plastic wrap and put in the mini-fridge the night before, with some hard boiled eggs, a couple apples or oranges and bread for toast (jelly... More

Many pluses, many minuses. Lovey view of Otto Lake; sunrise; less than 1/2 hour from entrance to Denali. Rooms are decent size, have large windows, ceiling fans, access directly outside to private porch with picnic table. Mattresses are comfortable, bathroom is clean (but tiny). Rooms have 'kitchenette' with counter bar, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, plates/cups/bowls/mugs etc., little table & chairs.... More

We spent three nights at the Lakeview Inn. Distance to Denali Nationalpark was ok. In case there is no construction it takes you only 15 minutes to the entrance of the park. So location is fine. Rooms were clean and large enough. Breakfast was a bit surprising. It is catered in your fridge and was kind of poor. Two piece... More
