We stayed here for three nights late August/early Sept. We chose the Denali Park Hotel because of price, and this was still quite expensive, but I know that the tourist season is short here. We had a quiet, roomy king room in building A. Could use an update and there was no couch or comfy chair. The wifi did not... More

Great place to stay! North of Denali National Park and away from all of the crazy ness of some of the big properties near the Park- Park in front of your door-Mountain views and dark skies for possible Aurora viewing! Room was comfortable- stayed in Building A- shower had great water pressure and hot water Like that the sink is... More

Due to a schedule change, we had to arrive a day early and thus leave a day early. They were so helpful and willing to adjust what we had reserved and we really appreciated that. This location is just a few miles away from the entrance to Denali, but far away from the traffic and hub bub. The room was... More

We just returned to Anchorage after a 7 night stay at the Denali Park Hotel. I read a number of reviews before booking and cannot believe some of the negative reviews. We found this to be exceptionally clean and quiet. It is a much better value than any of the places in "Glitter Gulch". I read reviews that said the... More

Ok; this isn't the 4 Seasons Healy. But what a great place to stay during your trip to Denali. Rooms (especially in the A unit) overlook the mountains and fields where the moose roam (but didn't see the moose on my journey.) The rooms are basic, but very comfortable and clean and quiet. Each has a microwave and refrig in... More

It was clean. Has been remodeled more than a few times, but still is a bit beat up. Reminded me of places in the 70's. It was the only place available for our stay due to changes in our flight. The train lobby is the highlight of the place. We only stayed one night and were off to better things.

This is a simple little place with plenty of character. The office is and old train car, the rooms are all on one level, just park right outside your door, a plus for my wife who uses a walker. The ladies at the desk were friendly and helpful, able to recommend restaurants in the area and the wifi was passable.... More

We stayed 2nights. But they didn't clean our room and They didn't change our bedsheets, towels So we slept on same bedsheet. It's too bad experience. The road from Denali National Park to the hotel is an unpaved road. It is too far from Denali National Park.

We are sorry that your stay with us was an unsatisfactory one. First of all, we do not change our guests sheets daily. We change linens every three days for extended stays but not for guests that only stay a couple of nights. Also, if your room was not cleaned it had to be because the privacy sign was on... More

This was our second stay at the Denali Park. For us, the most interesting thing about the hotel is the back story and the fact that the buildings were moved from Denali Park. The hotel is simple and the acoustics are not great. The location is great and away from the bustle closer to the park entrance. The staff is... More

This is a quaint hotel outside of Denali that is a great alternative to staying right near the park. The rooms are a little older, but very clean and in good shape. The staff is absolutely wonderful and were great to talk to. Lucy was extremely helpful when we talked to her the evening we came in, very late. They... More
