I stayed at the Denali Park Hotel for several nights in July of 2014. This place is definitely a roadside motel rather than luxury hotel, but that's not a bad thing when it's priced that way as well. The Denali area room prices seemed on the steep side to me (even when compared to the rest of Alaska) so finding... More

Nice quiet location several miles from the entrance to Denali National Park and Preserve. Polite and helpful desk person. Rooms were clean and fairly basic. Coffee maker and coffee in room and more in the lobby (a railroad car).

It's definitely comfortable and clean. But it's a roadside motel style establishment and should be rated at 3 stars. I guess there is really nothing to complain about here as long as you know what to expect with 3 stars. If you stay here get in and out your door quickly, and do not think about sitting on the seat... More

We stayed 5 nights at Denali Park Hotel and it was very nice. The room view was outstanding. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful with our excursion bookings. There was free coffee and tea in the hotel office. We liked the fact that there was a nice size refrigerator, microwave and a coffee maker in... More

This facility reminded me of the old time "motor courts" in Northern Michigan. Although the rooms are very basic, with no frills other than a small fridge and micro, they seem "right" for where you are visiting. Our mattress had seen it's better days. The staff is very helpful also. The only negative on the location is that there was... More

This turned out to be a good find which I chose after reading reviews on Tripadvisor. The staff (Leeann) was extremely helpful and informative. She gave us the history of the hotel and why it is named as it is even though it really is a motel and not hotel. Interesting history. They have snacks for sale in the office... More

We stayed at the Denali Park Hotel in August 2014. There was no room at any of the Hotels in Denali proper as we decided to book late. However no regrets at all. The drive to Healy was through a gulch that looked like it had been transported straight out of the movie "Seven brides for Seven sisters" beautiful, it... More

This is a very convenient clean place to sleep when visiting Denali National Park. It is 11 miles north of the Park. It is not a hotel but a motel type building which means that you park right outside your room. Located in a very scenic area with views of mountains in all directions. To get to the Park you... More

This hotel is not for people that want the fancy hotels but it is clean. The bathroom is pretty small but that didn't bother us. We loved the area, scenery and staff. My hubby actually said out of all the places we stayed on our Alaska trip this was his favorite. It doesn't have air conditioning but we just opened... More

Pros - inexpensive and clean. Cons - loud, heard a lot of traffic from the highway; absolutely the flattest pillows I've ever seen - please replace. Rooms look like they haven't been updated since the 70s but the tv might be from the 80s. With construction, about 30 minutes north of Denali.
