This turned out to be a good find which I chose after reading reviews on Tripadvisor. The staff (Leeann) was extremely helpful and informative. She gave us the history of the hotel and why it is named as it is even though it really is a motel and not hotel. Interesting history. They have snacks for sale in the office... More

We stayed at the Denali Park Hotel in August 2014. There was no room at any of the Hotels in Denali proper as we decided to book late. However no regrets at all. The drive to Healy was through a gulch that looked like it had been transported straight out of the movie "Seven brides for Seven sisters" beautiful, it... More

This is a very convenient clean place to sleep when visiting Denali National Park. It is 11 miles north of the Park. It is not a hotel but a motel type building which means that you park right outside your room. Located in a very scenic area with views of mountains in all directions. To get to the Park you... More

This hotel is not for people that want the fancy hotels but it is clean. The bathroom is pretty small but that didn't bother us. We loved the area, scenery and staff. My hubby actually said out of all the places we stayed on our Alaska trip this was his favorite. It doesn't have air conditioning but we just opened... More

Pros - inexpensive and clean. Cons - loud, heard a lot of traffic from the highway; absolutely the flattest pillows I've ever seen - please replace. Rooms look like they haven't been updated since the 70s but the tv might be from the 80s. With construction, about 30 minutes north of Denali.

We stayed here for three nights late August/early Sept. We chose the Denali Park Hotel because of price, and this was still quite expensive, but I know that the tourist season is short here. We had a quiet, roomy king room in building A. Could use an update and there was no couch or comfy chair. The wifi did not... More

Due to a schedule change, we had to arrive a day early and thus leave a day early. They were so helpful and willing to adjust what we had reserved and we really appreciated that. This location is just a few miles away from the entrance to Denali, but far away from the traffic and hub bub. The room was... More

We just returned to Anchorage after a 7 night stay at the Denali Park Hotel. I read a number of reviews before booking and cannot believe some of the negative reviews. We found this to be exceptionally clean and quiet. It is a much better value than any of the places in "Glitter Gulch". I read reviews that said the... More

Ok; this isn't the 4 Seasons Healy. But what a great place to stay during your trip to Denali. Rooms (especially in the A unit) overlook the mountains and fields where the moose roam (but didn't see the moose on my journey.) The rooms are basic, but very comfortable and clean and quiet. Each has a microwave and refrig in... More
