It was clean. Has been remodeled more than a few times, but still is a bit beat up. Reminded me of places in the 70's. It was the only place available for our stay due to changes in our flight. The train lobby is the highlight of the place. We only stayed one night and were off to better things.

This is a simple little place with plenty of character. The office is and old train car, the rooms are all on one level, just park right outside your door, a plus for my wife who uses a walker. The ladies at the desk were friendly and helpful, able to recommend restaurants in the area and the wifi was passable.... More

We stayed 2nights. But they didn't clean our room and They didn't change our bedsheets, towels So we slept on same bedsheet. It's too bad experience. The road from Denali National Park to the hotel is an unpaved road. It is too far from Denali National Park.

We are sorry that your stay with us was an unsatisfactory one. First of all, we do not change our guests sheets daily. We change linens every three days for extended stays but not for guests that only stay a couple of nights. Also, if your room was not cleaned it had to be because the privacy sign was on... More

This was our second stay at the Denali Park. For us, the most interesting thing about the hotel is the back story and the fact that the buildings were moved from Denali Park. The hotel is simple and the acoustics are not great. The location is great and away from the bustle closer to the park entrance. The staff is... More

This is a quaint hotel outside of Denali that is a great alternative to staying right near the park. The rooms are a little older, but very clean and in good shape. The staff is absolutely wonderful and were great to talk to. Lucy was extremely helpful when we talked to her the evening we came in, very late. They... More

Lots of Mosquitos but that us just how summer is in Alaska. Use plenty of Skin So Soft wipes, not only are they good for repelling Mosquitos they smell great! Rooms are large and clean. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Really nice and price is super for the area. 11 miles to park entrance. What more could you ask... More

It's more a motel than a hotel, because you can park your car in front of your room. The reception is situated in a hold train wagon. The room was clean and spacious, the receptionist was very kind giving good and appropriate information (we asked a lot of questions).

Staff was very pleasant. Room was clean and comfortable but clearly a budget hotel - nothing fancy. I appreciated that the refrigerator and microwave were unplugged with signs clearly indicating that they could be plugged in if we wanted to use the equipment...but otherwise they were unplugged to save electricity. The main negative was the visible gap around the door;... More

This motel is just a landmark of its own. The reception is literally a train carriage, one of those used during the war bearing the same colors , blue and yellow and the big Alaska sign on it. It is located 11 miles north of Denali Park on the Parks Highway and very close to the small city of Healy!... More

We visited Denali NP in the first week of July 2014. It was one of the cheapest options we found. we stayed for 3 nights. Room was comfortable, clean and big with 2 queen beds. We stayed couple of building away from the office area, so wifi signal was not good enough but the network coverage was good. It was... More
