What an amazing b and b! We arrived at this house in the wilderness at around 11 at night tired from a long day. When we arrived there was a cheerful note on the door from Becky, the manager, saying she had gone hiking but she wanted us to know what room we were in. We arrived and the door... More

So many places to sit, read, dine, visit...like five or six different areas. Rooms were tastefully decorated, clean and comfy. Fridge was available for our cold things. Breakfast...advertised hot breakfast after 7 but Becky fixed eggs and bacon for our early departure for the bus tour of Denali. Really appreciated the hot breakfast, but even without the hot food there... More

This B&B is situated in the wilderness with view of mountains and trees. We were visited by moose in the mornings very near the parking lot. That was quite an experience close up ! Becky was very hospitable. The breakfast was adequate. She even cooked egg whites for my son when requested. Becky showed us what was available in the... More

We loved our stay this May. And I was pleased to find out I could have fresh blueberry pancakes every morning! Becky was the best-so helpful. Our room was great with a king size bed and spacious bath. It had an outside entrance. The other guests were friendly. The long sunshine day really was a mood lifter. We saw a... More

Becky was waiting for us when we pulled in and showed us around the lodge and to our room, #9, which is entered from an outside stairway. It had a view from one window of a lovely grove of birch trees. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was tiny, but adequate. Walls were thin (could hear the phone conversation of guests in... More

We stayed two nights here for our visit to Denali National Park. While "Glitter Gulch" certainly is closer and you don't need a car - it's very commercialized and boat loads of tourists are milling around with noise and traffic. Touch of Wilderness was a breath of fresh air. It's about 15 miles away from the Park but very easy... More

What a pleasant experience we had at the Denali Touch of Wilderness! Our room was larger than we would have expected, the home was cozy and well stocked for guests. Becky was a wonderful hostess, accommodating guests with packable lunches for park excursions, breakfasts with gluten-free options, and coffee and snacks available throughout the day. Games and DVDs were available... More

Our first three nights in Healy have been awsome, the setting the animals most of all the help and suggestions from Becky the manager of the B&B. Food is great, a lot of homemade breads and snacks it feels just like home a lot of movies, games and stuff to choose from. There are a few places to eat localy... More

One of the BEST B&B we've stayed in. We stayed in a room with a futon because we had our two children with us. There was plenty or room to spread out. The common areas were a great place to relax. Everything was clean and nicely decorated. The food was great and the homemade bread was out of this world... More

Although Google Maps estimated this charming B&B was a 45 minute drive from the park entrance, I was pleased to find it was more around 20 minutes away (my Garmin GPS estimated it correctly). My family only stayed here overnight prior to an Alaskan cruise, so we would be able to visit Denali National Park beforehand. While there are a... More
