I hate to write a negative review, but feel its important that The Alyeska LISTEN to their guests...maybe they will here. PROS: Beautiful resort, fantastic grounds, good food in the restaurants, great shops. The entrance is stunning & I loved everything about the lobby, seating areas. CONS: I asked on 3 occasions, prior to our arrival, that we wanted a... More

Thank you for taking the time to notify us about your guest experience. We apologize for the difficulties you experienced while visiting us. We also apologize that the maintenance crew began work earlier than the scheduled time of 10am. Alaska is experiencing some record warm temperatures this year and on occasion, that has caused some comfort issues for our guests... More

Expensive but very nice by Alaska standards! We were there in the summer. Nonetheless we enjoyed the lobby with lots of fireplaces and animal heads. Definitely an impressive lodge in terms of setting at the base of the mountain. Comfortable rooms and beds.

There is nothing at this resort that could be Improved. It was perfect. Breathtaking views, excellent meals, nice walking paths, abundant wildlife, perfect rooms. Totally recommend this resort. Riding the tram is a must do. Views are incredible.

I suspect the excellent reviews come from people on tours who don't realize the cost of the room. The hotel is simply overpriced for the size of the rooms. It was nice enough but $319 a night for nothing exceptional is too much. They couldn't even remember to put a plastic bag in the ice bucket. Whereas it was a... More

So much of Alaska is still rugged, with wilderness and extensive forests that span throughout this beautiful state. Many of the places we stayed in were rustic and in small cities. Alyeska was the last place we stayed before returning home. I will say that we definitely saved the best for last in terms of luxury and upscale accommodations. At... More

We enjoyed our two night stay at Hotel Alyeska, which is more of a lodge-style resort than a hotel. The room was pretty standard - clean and comfortable and included a fridge and safe, but nothing really special given the high price. The public areas are attractive and well maintained and there are several shops providing a mix of practical... More

This place was flat out terrific. My wife and I did a two-night spa package for our anniversary and enjoyed every minute. Our room on the 7th floor was immaculate, with a comfortable sitting space by the window that provided A+ Alaska mountain views. We had breakfast delivered both mornings, and it is good to have some protein for all... More

Based on other reviews, we thought the Hotel Alyeska would be the best place we stayed while touring Alaska. We were looking forward to a peaceful stay at a nice hotel. Unfortunately, we found the following issues: - Had requested room with King bed, but were told that only rooms with two double beds were available when we checked in... More

This was a return family vacation. Rooms, food, scenery and weather were enjoyed by all. The grandkids liked the tram ride up to, and back down from, Seven Glaciers Restaurant and the walking trails around the hotel.

We stayed here the last 2 nights of our Alaskan Adventure, and what a great way to finish! We stayed in a Jr. Suite and It accommodated my husband and I and our 2 teenage kids very comfortably! We hiked up on the North Face trail, and took the Tram down. A great hike, and provided some spectacular views. While... More
