Everything about this resort is outstanding. Great public spaces, great views, good service, quality shops and several places to get food. The room was also good but when the power went off, our room heard every generator and fire door in the building waking us up several times through the night. Pick any room BUT 358

We stayed here on day 5 of our pre cruise land tour before our 7 day cruise. So we enjoyed the large bathroom and tub before our cruise where we would have a small shower in a small room. Our room was ok. The room was a little smaller than the the 2 previous nights and the bed was about... More

I cannot address the issues regarding workout facilities since we did not avail ourselves of those amenities. We did, however, find our rooms to be clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful, and we thoroughly enjoyed two dining experiences at hotel facilities. We found our dinner at Seven Glaciers to be a highlight of our Alaska vacation,... More

We visited off-season (i.e., not ski-season). This hotel hits the lux mark on location, access to excursions, nice gift and gear shopping and clean, comfortable rooms. However, it misses the mark in having even quasi-gourmet food choices on site, an updated gym (a treadmill completely shut down while I was using it) and other modern conveniences that are standard for... Beautiful hotel w/ nice rooms. Service was excellent. The tram ride up Mt Roberts was wonderful. Saw black bear and 2 moose! Views at top were great! Restaurant in hotel was very good. Restaurant at top was very expensive, but those in group who ate there said it was very good. Rooms clean, well decorated and very comfortable. Unfortunately, we... More

Clean rooms good restaurants great trails around Tram available to go up the mountain and view the hanging glaciers Right off the highway AWCC 10 miles from the hotel Only one thing I did not like was we requested them to extend our checkout time by 30 minutes but they did not oblige.

It is a very elegant and comfortable hotel with great Vista and lots of hiking trails nearby in the rain forest. Obviously, it is also well suited for Skiing vacation too. Nice grounds and a very nice Japanese restaurant on site (see separate review for the restaurant - Sakura.

1st evening arrived too late to get reservation fine dinner but we went to the Japanese place. That appears to be way understaffed and totally unorganized. Next day we went to the Seven Glaciers restaurant on top of the mountain and that was great. Scenery was amazing and food was excellent, great wine choice and staff very professional. We took... We stayed at the Hotel Alyeska as part of a Holland America land tour and were in awe of what a beautiful place it was. Rooms were beautiful (even had ski holders and places for ski boots outside the rooms), refrigerator, in-room coffee, a safe, robes and slippers, push buttons beside the bed for "do not disturb" and "housekeeper", and...
