I live in Alaska & after a horrible experience at a hotel in Anchorage, it has compelled me to write a review about my amazing stay at the Alyeska! We went for one night in October 2014 & the hotel upgraded me for free because it was my birthday :) We were in a Junior Suite at close to the... More

The hotel has good accommodations -- comfortable rooms, good restaurants, interesting shops, a tram, hiking/strolling trails, and bears up on the hills. It does get tedious when you booked your room for five people, but day after day there are only towels for four people. And it's definitely a high-volume place -- I've never seen such huge stacks of luggage... More

This is a ski resort but you do not have to ski to enjoy staying here. We took the skytram up the mountain and enjoyed views of the valley and inlet. We took walks and spent time in the salt water pool and hot tub. Every employee we dealt with was welcoming and helpful. A great place for a romantic... More

We stayed December 29 for 5 nights for a ski trip. We arrived early after coming down from 2 nights in Anchorage. It was a busy day, and unfortunately for the ski field, not all the runs were open due to lack of snow, so whilst we hoped for an early check in, it was not able, and in fact,... More

Be aware of limited dining choices and excessive crowding, get to dinner early or else run the risk of having no place to eat other than room service. Nearby Double Musky Inn is a great choice for meals!

Shortly before Thanksgiving, my pregnant wife, my daughter, and I decided to take a small mini-vacation. Because we live in Anchorage, we elected to give Alyeska a shot; I'd never been there before, and my wife had only been to the chalet skiing as a teenager. We figured that it'd be a nice stay, right before skiing season opened. I... More

The hotel is located in the scenic area and provides great accommodation for skiers and vacationing families. We spent two nights there over the New Year and liked it a lot. There is a bar, a few restaurants, a pool, hot tub, and a sauna. I am not sure if it is worth the price, but there is no other... More

near Anchorage and top quality experience. Christmas was busy, but other times will be perfect. They even offer free valet parking. Food and drink is reasonably priced and good. Rooms are very comfortable and economical.

Beautiful inside and out! Great service from staff. Wonderful views within driving distance of the hotel. Great restaurant on top of the mountain behind the hotel. Not so wonderful food but breathtaking views. Would stay here again.

Save your money. We called to request early check in and a crib. They confirmed both of our request would be accommodated. Upon arrival we were informed that neither we available. We returned at 4pm for regular check in and our room was still not available. When we requested to speak to a manager, we were informed that he was... More
