A wonderful Hotel just 35 miles outside of Anchorage. We stayed two nights and everything was perfect. First class and turn down service. They have hiking trails from the hotel and it is a 15 minute walk to the little village of Girdwood. Also the cable car with lunch package was a great deal.

My family of 5 stayed here on the last night of the the land portion of our land/cruise tour through Royal Caribbean and even our tour guide said "This hotel is the reason you booked this tour!". It was perfect for our last night before heading to Seward and later getting on our cruise ship. They saved the best for... More

First stop after a 7 night cruise, beautiful and first class. The rooms are a nice size and the bathroom is big too. Our room has a refrigerator, coffee maker, nice size TV and free wifi. Several restaurants to choose from and very beautiful grounds to walk around.

This is a large hotel with all the amenities one would expect. The restaurants were good as was the large salt water in door pool. The rooms were clean but the room cleaning service slow. Staff was friendly.

We stayed here on the last night of our honeymoon, and we were very glad we did. The resort is almost over the top luxury. To me it felt like a private camp of wealthy families from the Gilded Age, although bigger. The whole resort is pine scented, I am pretty sure they pipe it in (it's not too much,... More

We stayed here our very first night in Alaska. Needless to say, it was an amazing start to our wonderful trip. First of all, we were upgraded to a junior sweet and our room was fantastic! From that point on, every moment was incredible. Beautiful views and great trails leading all around the resort kept the kids happy! They want... More

This is quite an up-scaled facility considering most of the places in Alaska are regional hotels or B&Bs. During the summer Hotel Alyeska caters to bikers, hikers and bus tours to the area. The check- in is performed by gentlemen in coats and ties while the guests wore jeans, ski attire, and a great pair of boots. Dressier for dinner... More

I loved the look, feel, service and accommodations of this beautiful resort. Yes there are a few MINOR things to update / improve but you can find that anywhere. Alyeska was friendly, comfortable, enjoyable, the trails were gorgeous, the food tasty and I really wanted to extend even after extending my stay. If you're in Girdwood and have the $$$... More

I have to say this is one of the most gorgeous, if not the most gorgeous hotels u ever stayed at. We stayed during a 11 day Alaska tour and were given a corner room ( gorgeous view of the mountain). I could not find anything wrong with this hotel including taking the tram up the mountain. To top it... More
