We were winging it the last couple days of our trip. Landed in Girdwood and found the Hotel Alyeska. Dropped in wet and boy oh boy, was it awesome! Great room, great food, super staff. Hiking at top of tram. Salt water indoor pool. Would go back there in a heartbeat.

Wonderful, pleasant surprise! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great amenities, and wonderful, friendly staff. Top notch for Alaska! Our room was nice and modern. The food was excellent and the pool area was everything we envisioned. Great location and good hotel for the area!

I don't understand how this hotel can get less than outstanding. One of the most beautiful scenic places I have ever witnessed with staff that are polite, sweet and accommodating. The Ski lift was lovely. The pool, hot tub and sauna divine. WONDERFUL!

Although a ski destination, this is equally beautiful without the snow. The gondola ride is spectacular with views forever and the Seven Glaciers restaurant at the top was well worth the ride. Service and accommodations stellar. Highly recommend.

We spent 10 days in Alaska and made every attempt to select lodging with budget in mind so we could see all the sights we wanted. Did an excellent job with the assistance on Tripadvisor reviews in advance. After a change in flights due to airline cancellations we ended up with an additional day and decided to select something special... More

The hotel itself is an ominous looking building.. Its primarily a ski resort, so there really isn't too much to do. The hotel does offer 'hiking trails' and 'mountain biking trails'.. We were really looking forward to hiking and biking… But we took one look at the trails and said forget that.. The mountain is HUGE and steep (thats where... More

This was our third (or fourth) visit to this beautiful resort. And it won't be our last! It is a stunning hotel situated on wonderful ground in beautiful scenery. And, it is clean, clean, clean! From the room with its crisp white sheets to the sparkling bathroom, to the fitness and pool area, just everywhere you go and look, this... More

We stayed one night here after arriving in Anchorage. We were headed to Seward for a few days. This was a much better choice than staying in Anchorage for the night. All facets of our short stay were top notch. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet which was superb. All staff members were very attentive and friendly.

What an amazing property! Located in the largest ski area in Alaska. We visited the property during the summer and took the tram twice to enjoy the amazing views! The hotel is beautifully designed. The pool is inviting and the fitness center has everything you need for a complete workout, however you will get the best exercise enjoying the many... More

Spent 5 days at the Hotel Aleyska. The hotel is great. Many activities. Easy access to Whittier, Seward and Anchorage. Very romantic location. Concierge staff outstanding with many activities available. Grounds and building are very well maintained. Rooms are very comfortable. Beautiful views of glaciers, wildlife.
