My husband and I took advantage of a Sunday night special of a room and dinner at Seven Glaciers. The food is exceptional, the decor is amazing and the service is some of the best Alaska has to offer. In daylight the view is spectacular and beyond compare. After dinner I went to the fitness center and soaked in the... More

We really enjoyed the building and the furnishings and even the hot tub & pool were open and worked this trip. The housekeeping staff were the weirdest we've encountered in any country. They POUNDED on the door over and over while I kept yelling at them to go away. We had just returned from the pool and were changing and... More

This hotel truly is a great way to get away and relax. The rooms are small but very clean and taken care of. The bar and restaurants in the hotel are all great. Good service as far as bell men, room service and waiters in the restaurants. Rooms on the 8th floor of the mountain have a great view but... More

This is a great hotel in a paradisiac place with a ski resort at your door steps and the base of Chugach Powder Guides which offers you the ultimate snow holiday ever. The rooms are quite nice but i strongly suggest upgrading for their suites which isnt much more expensive but you get great value for money as they are... More

One of the best places to splurge near Anchorage. Accommodations are nice, and the hotel is well situated with great views and ski in ski out access. The pool facilities are first rate. Well appointed, and comfortable rooms. Now all we need is some Alaska weather with snow.

On a 4 day Denali loop, we rested overnight at the Alyeska Resort. The room was very large, but cozy, comfortable and clean. We obtained bikes for free and rode a mile or so into Gridwood. Lunch at the cafe was excellent and we rode the cable car twice to the top: once for the stunning views and a short... More

We came here in the summer. When traveling to Alaska, a beautiful state, in the summer, there was no way we were planning to spend our days cooped up inside. However, the cozy interior of this resort made me wish to be able to sit in front of the main fireplace in the winter while watching the snow through all... More

Stayed for a long weekend in October--since it was between the end of the summer tourist season and the start of the ski season, we got a nice room for a decent price. There a couple of good restaurants near by, though the ones directly inside the hotel are nothing special. Beautiful property, and great views from the top of... More

While the hotel is nice on the inside, the exterior is starting to show just how old it is. You would think that, with the ski season getting ready to stay, they would spend some time refinishing the wood exterior and furniture. Instead, it is water stained and severely weathered. The staff are polite. Room service was quick and easy.... More

...but with limited sunshine hitting this side of the valley, found the hotel and the valley side rooms of this property to be dark. Don't get me wrong; Beautiful property...just a bit lacking in natural light. Room was a nice size, but I was facing the parking lot/ valley, had a small window and needed all the room lights on...
