My husband & I stayed here for two days. The guesthouse was furnished with everything we needed. Our hostess was Judy & she was very accommodating - baking us a loaf of fresh bread with a jar of homemade rhubarb jam....it was delicious! We spent a lot of time driving around the area...and were fortunate enough to see a mama... More

Thank you so much for your review. I am so pleased that you enjoyed your stay at Girdwood Guest House. The bears are visiting us quite frequently now that the strawberries are ripe. More

This was actually a one bedroom, fully equipped apartment. I could live here. The bed was very comfortable and the fridge well stocked with breakfast items. I was a bit baffled that guests were expected to strip the beds.

Thank you for sharing your kind words about your stay. It is helpful to me to know that stripping the beds was not something you expected to do. I received a prior comment about this so have not asked guests to strip the beds upon departure.since the beginning of July this year. More

We recently stayed here for 2 nights while visiting the Girdwood area and sailing Prince William Sound. Handled everything via the internet and everything went smoothly. Judy always answered my questions in a very timely manner. We were a family of 4 adults which was a little crowded in this B&B. We had requested the sleeper sofa, but it was... More

I cannot think of a single bad thing to say about this place. There was plenty of room, bathroom was nice, and the kitchen was fully equipped. It really did feel like a home away from home. The homemade break was great and the homemade preserves were amazing. There is nowhere else I would stay if ever in that area... More

We loved this place so much we hated to leave. You have your own private area with deck out front to sit and enjoy coffee or a glass of wine. Pat made us a loaf of fresh bread and Judy made fresh preserves that were in the kitchen waiting for us. It was heavenly!!! Thank you so much!! Everything else... More

We couldn't have been happier staying anywhere else in the area. Judy & Pat treated us very well. Home made bread and jam. Plenty of food for our breakfasts. Eggs, cereal, waffles, milk, juice, cheese etc. Great bed. Quiet. They gave us plenty of information for things to see and do here. I would highly recommend this place to anyone... More

Judy was a wonderful hostess greeting us with warm bread to hand over the keys for our two night stay. The description listed this as good for 5 people but I had emailed her when we booked that we had 6 including my mother and father- in- law, my husband and our 2 kids ( ages 12 & 14). She... More

This place is a true home away from home. All amenities and a one of a kind insight into Alaskan life through the lovely hosts Judy & Pat. They let you enjoy the solitude and the privacy of the appartment but are always there to help you out or once in a while spoil you with homemade bread, jam or... More

We stayed for two separate nights on our travels to and from Homer. This was a great alternative to staying in Anchorage. GGH is a one guest B&B. It is a five room apartment. There is a living room, full size kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and laundry area. The bedroom has a comfortable king bed, futon, and has no windows. Once you... More
