My first ever trip to Alaska, and what a fantastic hotel to be at. All the facilities around the resort was great, and well-maintained. Service was good. Breakfast was great, and dinner at Glacier Express was memorable. I ran around the woods one morning and it was so stunning. Oh, wifi was good here!

This is a lovely and beautifully maintained hotel, with all the conveniences of a resort. We only used it for a single night, but thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The staff(front desk, tram and Seven Glaciers) were all very accomodating and friendly. The rooms are lovely and beautifully clean. The public places in the hotel were very pleasant, with nice leather... More

Friendly, courteous staff, great amenities and location, comfortable and clean rooms with great view, and great food on site. Cookies, cocoa, and waters at turndown, and easy bike rentals near miles of trails made for excellent experience.

We stayed here for one night on our way down to Homer. We opted for a private room, which we entered by briefly going just inside a communal room. Quiet and served us well for the night. There is another private room upstairs. While we saw a few other occupants, most were out hiking in the gorgeous surrounding areas. The... More

Very cute and can be romantic or there is room for four people with the high loft beds, just don't ask me to get up there. My only complaint is the main bed is hard not just firm. And bring your own coffee. Loved the fireplace.

For a hostel, this is a great little place. Clean and well stocked. My only complaint is that it is quiet. Really really, hear every word everyone says, quiet. We paid extra for a private room but it did not matter because the walls and ceilings were so thin that once quiet hours started (at an early 9 pm) we... More

Arrived late to find our bedroom just as promised. This was my daughter and I first experience with a hostel. We did our homework and we VERY pleased with our stay at Alyeska Hostel. The host was wonderful, and we met the greatest people. We would have missed so much of the "local flavor" had we stayed elsewhere! It was... More

We stayed for a night in the private cabin (sleeps 4) and loved it! It was clean, warm, and has a little kitchenette and bathroom with shower. I will mention that the bunks/lofts are pretty close to the ceiling so may not be a good idea if you're claustrophobic :) The person we talked with and made our reservations through... More

My husband and I were just about to give it up and sleep at a camping site when a lady at the local mercantile recommended this hostel. I was expecting an okay room for around $50-60 and when we got there, luckily, the private cabin was available for $84 and we were so impressed with how cute it was that... More

Unbelievable location nestled among beautiful houses and glorious neighbors. Tom (hostel host) is not only knowledgable, but goes above and beyond to help you in whatever your needs may be! Jeremey (the owner) actually lent the host his car to drive us 17 miles outside of town to get propane we needed to backpack into backcountry. Our private room was... More
