Where do I start? I'll just list the mishaps. 1. We reserved a large room upstairs w/ a queen bed. When we got there, we were informed that we were moved to the downstairs room (with no notice). Turns out to be a kids room, with twin beds, by the utility room. We are told that our deposit will not... More

First off let me say I am very sorry your stay at Timber Bay was not up to your expectations. Let me address some of your concerns. 1. Yes, you did reserve the Bear Room. It is furnished with a Queen Bed and a Single Pull Out Sofa. Since your reservation was for 2 woman I made the assumption(a bad... More

Our four-night stay at Timber Bay couldn't have been better, from the accommodations to the breakfasts to the touring advice from Don and Sharon. They even prepared gluten and dairy-free breakfasts for my mother. And not only are the views stunning, but they are even better while relaxing in the hot tub on the deck!

We stayed here for 3 nights on our recent trip to Homer. This B & B is outstanding. We stayed in the bear room which has beautiful views of the Kachemak bay state park. Room is cozy and kept very clean. Don prepares great breakfast and he even prepared breakfast early on the last day just for us. This B... More

this is our second stay at this stunning location. The view is superb of the glaciers and the bay and the wildflowers. Views are cheap in Homer but this place is worth the short drive for other reasons. The hospitality of the owners is beyond compare. They are welcoming, the house and accommodations are very clean and comfortable and they... More

Three nights as guests of Don and Sharon were excellent. Entire property is beautiful - Bear Room is magnificent! Views of the bay, the glaciers and the mountains are spectacular. Hosts are like old friends, and Don's breakfasts are a feast for all your senses. All the other reviews are very accurate.

Two days and nights with the Cotognos in Homer will re-set your expectations for the B&B experience. The physical and aesthetic beauty of their massive timber home and the breathtaking views of glaciers presiding over Catchemak Bay will make your visit memorable. When Don (master chef) starts cooking breakfast, your senses go into overload, because every meal is a creative... More

Amazing HGTV dream type B &B with great hosts. Pictures don't do this slice of heaven justice. The views, room, guest lobby, kitchen and great room are awesome. Two story fireplace. It was my first time at a B &B. It was like staying at a rich relatives house with the best view of Kachemak bay, hot tub, sauna and... More

3 adults stayed in the Christmas apartment. It's worth staying here just waking up with that view! The apartment was wonderfully private and even had a washer/dryer which we used. The shower head was a bit wanky and the two pull outs not comfortable for two adults but waking up to that view was awesome. Expect a wonderful dining breakfast... More
