Ruth Ann's is a pleasant hotel with a comfortable bed, hot water, cable TV, and available wireless internet (through a local ISP). As lodging off the road system in Alaska goes, this place is practically paradise. The honeymoon suite had a walk through double shower with a hot tub. The room was gorgeous, clean and inviting. It had a kitchen that had all the amneties. I could not have asked for a better place to spend the night. Of course to get this fabulous room you must book ahead for it. Yes Craig is small...yet it's... more

As was said in the 2005 review - there's not much choice in Craig. Outside of fishing and hunting season Craig is very small, not much goes on. Ruth Ann's restaurant has two sections, the grille and the upscale dining area. The difference is sandwiches versus meals. Booked Ruth Ann's from the web. The picture on the web is of Ruth Ann's Restaurant a cute gingerbread style building right on the waterfront.
