Great place to stay stayed there a couple of times that I visited Cordova. Nice views from the room. Great food, friendly staff. Peaceful and relaxing. Comfortable rooms. Lots to do or just hang out. Great fishing and tours to take from the lodge

Wonderful time. Staff and lodge could not have done anything more to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable. We had all ages with us and never ran out of things to do, see and of course eat. I can't wait for our next trip! I would highly recommend taking in the guided fishing. Make sure you have your camera with... More

Thank you so much for your kind words and I'm so happy that you had a memorable fishing experience. The Cordova area is a gorgeous setting that offers such a wide variety of things to see and do. Not many places in Alaska can offer such a diverse setting with a little something for everyone. As you mentioned, always have... More

First time to Alaska and I have to say that I am spoiled. Steve and his family and staff are wonderful hosts and very attentive. Do not expect this to be a high-end establishment, but do expect to have the time of your life - wonderful fishing, meals, scenery, etc. Rooms were large, clean and had everything we needed. Every... For most travelers, just getting to Alaska is a major ordeal. At Orca, we understand how intimidating this can be and strive to make sure guests are comfortable both before, during, and after their trip. Communication is the key, and makes it easier for us to do our jobs, as well as provide a better trip for YOU. Come back... More

I have visited Orca Adventure Lodge on three separate occasions. On each visit, I have found the accommodations to be the best in town and the staff to be very helpful. The setting also happens to be one of the most scenic anywhere. The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious; the meals are superb, and the staff are courteous and... More

Thank so much for the excellent feedback regarding our staff, location, and adventure activities. While we try to go out of our way for every guest to give that "once in a lifetime" experience, it has truly been an honor to have you and your veterans with us over the last few years. Its inspirational just meeting everyone involved and... More

After enjoying my second visit to Orca Adventure Lodge, I am even more certain that it is the favorite vacation lodge for my husband and me. Our first visit was in May and our second in September. Each month was wonderful! The Location is the best for a lodge to begin adventures or just to enjoy the changing tide. The... More

While June-August is considered the "summer" for many tour companies and travel groups, May and September are some of my favorite months as well. They are both very different, but offer a unique perspective of Cordova that many don't get to experience. We hope you can make it back again to experience some of our other months as well! More

Came up right before labor day with a group that has been coming to Orca Adventure for quite a few years. It is located just slightly past town and right on Prince William Sound, and the location is gorgeous. Steve the owner is very helpful in making arrangements for transport, fishing, and anything else you might need around the place,... More

Loved the lodge and location. Staff all very friendly and helpful. I doubt there would be a 'bad' room in the entire complex - it was lovely. I would love to return there, go fishing and spend some time just chilling. However, I did not have a vehicle and the 'bicycles' mentioned on a site I'd consulted prior to booking... More

Thanks for your feedback and overview of Orca. As others have mentioned, Cordova has quite a large road system for having no way in or out. If you are in town on business or aren't planning on taking advantage of guided adventures with the Lodge, a rental car is the way to go. Its really nice kicking back with a... More

Cordova is a friendly town with breathtaking scenery! The Orca Lodge had spectacular meals (with good value for your travel dollar!), very helpful staff (the owner Steve is present and checks in with the guests frequently), and clean, comfortable beds and showers. I'm so glad to hear that you had such a wonderful experience in Cordova and here at Orca. There is so much to see and do in a town with "no road" that it can sometimes be tough to get a well rounded trip in a few short days, but you all really covered a lot of area. The fantastic... More

We booked our stay at Orca Adventure Lodge after meeting Ian, one of their former charter captains. It is impossible to relay how amazing our trip was. From start to finish, every encounter we had with the staff was top notch. The manager, Brian, is fantastic. He answered all of our questions and was so helpful in providing the information... More

Word of mouth has always been a great asset to Orca Lodge, and we really appreciate when folks tell their friends and family about their experiences here in Cordova.
