We stayed here 3 nights and were then stranded when our ferry was cancelled. Our Cabin (#2) was a palace compared to some of the other lodging that is available in the area, and at a much better rate! Arrived in Cordova for the 2011 High School Graduation. Stayed for 3 days and 4 Nights at Bear Country Lodge and Wow what a breathtaking place. The cabin was beautifully ornamental with that wildness attire with mounted antlers and games heads. Stayed here three nights. Wonderful place. When we arrived right after we brought our bags in the cabin we looked out the back window, a bald eagle soared across the three windows overlooking the mountains/lake in the back and shortly afterward a seaplane took off all while salmon spawned along the shoreline.
