An amazing house, (so spacious and very modern) and location, pool and beach right on your door-step. Excellent view overlooking the lagoon. It was like having your own little hideaway in paradise. We made good use of the kayaks and snorkel gears. Joy and John are terrific hosts. What else could you ask for. Our flight was cancelled, and our... More

We stayed for 6 nights with our 3 teenage children. We could have stayed 6 weeks. What a great choice, upon arrival we couldn't believe how big the house was or how gorgeous the view. Joy met us with big smiles and lovely welcome, fridge full of goodies and kitchen very nicely set up for us (even having removed the... More

WOW WOW WOW - we stayed here for 9 nights at the end of march and it was an amazing house - The best on the island. It has a lovely pool overlooking Muri Lagoon which was used alot due to the hot weather. Joy and John are such lovely people and make you feel very welcome. Would not hesitate... More

Just returned from a week in Rarotonga at the Navigator. Joy and John are great hosts and their home was perfect for our family of five. We loved the location, the pool, the facilities and our daily visits from Stumpy and the rest of the dog posse - when Stumpy would let them visit! The Navigator is a lovely home... More

John and Joy what a fabulous house you have! We loved our stay and can't fault the Navigator in anyway. Even loved the daily visits from the dogs and loved Stumpy! We will be back!

It's hard to imagine that The Navigator could have been better the second time around, but it truly was. Having stayed in 2010, we didn't expect this visit (March/April 2012) to surpass the last. It did, in many ways. The Navigator is a beautiful home in the most amazing location on Muri Beach. The views, the beach, privacy, peace and... More

Fresh from a 3 week, second stay at The Navigator, it's the memories of this incredibly special place that keep us sane in our everyday lives...and the promise of a third trip to come! We'll keep returning because of the faultless facilities, superb location, fine hosts and excellent holiday vibe. Stumpy, the random house-dog, was the icing on the cake.... More

We recently enjoyed our second holiday at The Navigator on Muri Beach. We chose to return due to the incredible location and the wonderful accommodation and facilities on offer. We weren't disappointed. A stunning vista from every direction greets you as you walk onto your own private deck/patio. The hardest decision you will make is to swim or snorkel in... More

Reality vs expectations: - Having eagerly anticipated our stay at the Navigator for about a year...drooling almost daily over any internet pictures we could find, we were so happy and relieved when the reality far exceeded our very high expectations. Without exception, this holiday hideaway delivered on all fronts - comfort, location, facilities, price, service and indulgence. Frankly, we're nervous... More

We stayed at The Navigator mid August and it is just the best kept secret. The photos don’t do it justice and the owners Joy and John were the best hosts. There were 4 of us in total (two couples) and the afternoon that we arrived we walked into the house and it was amazing – we looked at the... More
