The staff at the Kenai Princess Wilderness Lodge made us feel special and they were very attentive to our families needs. Travelling with 2 children ages 10 and 8 and my mother age 72, we needed a variety of choices for our excursions and food selections. The quaint environment and wonderful excursions made this stay one of my favorite places... More

The Kenai Princess wilderness lodge is a beautiful place. It is situated near Coopers Landing in the woods above the river. The cabins are very nice and have a lot of space. The beds are good. The restaurant is good too with good food and great service. Breakfast is excellent.

During our trip to Alaska we stayed at both the MtMcKinley lodge and the Kenai. The Mt McKinley lodge was a little more elegant and the Kenai was a little more rustic. LOVED the fireplace in our room. Again the scenery was magnificent. Staff was friendly and extremely helpful. So glad we were able to experience this beautiful area.

We always enjoyed getting away from anchorage and staying at the RV Park. This year, however, EVERY SINGLE time we came to stay the RV park employees were babysitting what turned out to be the food and beverage manager's children.Very disruptive and disturbing!!

We stayed at the Princess Kenai Lodge for two nights in July 2014. This lodge is smaller and more intimate with what they call bungalow style rooms. The property is very well maintained and clean with beautiful flowers around. From the deck of the Lodge where there are many seats, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Kenai River.... More

I cannot begin to say enough about this lodge. The setting, the spacious cabins, the immaculate grounds - if you are looking for a treat in the wilderness, this is it. The food and menu ( managed by Angel ) is out of this world. Service top notch as well, by well trained young people from around the world and... More

We didn't book early enough to get our first choice of rooms, but were very satisfied with what we got. It is nice to be able to have a sink separate from the tub/toilet and a comfortable sitting area with a view at least partially separated from the sleeping area. There was adequate space for two people to unpack. I... More

Great setting, lodge is owned by Holland American so it is mostly cruise passengers. The food was good but not cheap. It sits over the Kenai River which will take your breath away! You can hike on to the river from the resort.

Couldn't imagine a more exciting place to stay. Cabins were large, homely and cosy. Setting was fabulous with moose and grizzly bears wandering thru compound during the night. I sat by the window til the early hours of the morning, fascinated by the wildlife. Rooms didnt cater for hot tea drinkers though. Would have been better if meals were included... More
