On our two-week driving excursion thru Alaska, my wife an I were looking for a quiet but clean place to stay between Seward and Homer to do some hiking and take a float trip down the Kenai River. We had already purchased the Alaska Tour Saver Coupon Book and it contained a 2-nights-for-the-price-of-1 coupon for the Kenai Princess. Based on... more

We stayed 3 nights at the Princess Kenai with a buy two stay one day free offer. The room was great, clean & roomy. After staying in a B&B by Homer which was awful, this place was the total opposite and welcome. My only complaint was they had no coffee maker in the room. The resort did sell coffee in... more

We were coming to the end of our seven day "Land Tour" and what a perfect place to conclude this portion of our journey. Once at the lodge we were shown to our bungalows which have vaulted ceilings of natural woods, private porches and cozy sitting areas with wood-burning stoves. After settling in we visit the main lodge which is... more

Of the different places we stayed while in Alaska, this one was my ultimate favorite. I loved the setting, gorgeous mountains and river, with lots of places to hike. We experienced wonderful service...the room was clean and comfortable. Although we didn't need to use the wood burning stove due to the weather, it added to the rustic feeling of the... more

Having left Homer we're on our way to Cooper's Landing. We have decided to stay at the Princess Kenai Campground there. Well we spotted our first big game today. Stopped at a pull off just outside Coopers Landing to let the traffic pass. We thought we'ld take a break and look around for wildlife signs while we did. Needless to... more

We stayed two nights at the Kenai Princess Lodge. This place was very nice. It is set high up in the hills and ovelooks the Kenai River. The setting is remarkable. The folks here were all very nice and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. We ate dinner at the Rafters restaurant which is located on the property.... more

Make it look like you're roughing it when you're really not: These cabin style bungalows are a few steps away from a nice lodge and good food! more

We sandwiched this stay one night in between "roughing" it in cabins and it was just the luxury I needed. The cabins were very clean, quiet and the view is staggering. One of my favorite stops in all of Alaska. The river below is like an emerald turquoise color. Our room had a fireplace and we were next to the... more

Like many of the reviewers, we really liked the Kenai Princess. We stayed one night here at the beginning of our land tour mainly because of the special rate that Princess was offering. During a conversation with one of the staff, I mentioned that the Denali Princess must be the crown jewel of the Princess Lodgings (based upon location and... more

We spent one night here. It ws very nice, but not great. Grounds are beautiful. We ate dinner there and salmon was great but prime rib was tough. They had a good early bird special--but we missed it! Room was rustic, clean and comfy. Bedding was ok but not nearly the best we found on our trip. Location was very... more
