We stayed at the Kenai Princess Lodge as part of the booked tour. The lodge is very nice. Rooms are very large and have a wood burning stove. Staff was friendly and efficient. Restaurants are quite good although fairly expensive, but that is just the cost of eating out in Alaska. Of the three Princess Lodges we stayed at in... More

We stayed here our last night in Alaska and could not have picked a better place. The view from the deck of the lodge overlooking the Kenai River to the spectacular peak across the valley is as good as it gets. You can walk down to the river (about 1/2 mile) where you find an easy trail along the river... More

This is the place if you want a rustic setting in the wilderness. I rate this place as number 1 of the Princess Alaska lodges we have visited. First it is small with less than 90 rooms. Second, the main lodge has a large veranda/deck with killer views of the river and mountains where you can see goats, eagles, bears,... More

My dad helped build the lodge many years ago and it seems that the suite decks have not been up-kept at all since then. Rooms were clean and roomy but beds very uncomfortable (ex; no box springs). Once your neighbor wakes or employees start their day don't expect to sleep any longer. You can hear everything. The Lodge itself is... More

The Kenai Princess is a gem! There are 86 rooms, each an individual bungalow complete with wood burning stove. Half of the rooms are close to the main lodge and easily walkable. The other half wind up a hill across from the lodge. Walking is certainly possible but there is a continuous running shuttle bus from door to door of... More

We spent 3 nights at the Lodge and everything was perfect! Started out our stay with lunch on the outdoor patio while waiting for our room. We had a king bed end unit at the top of the hill - very quiet, private, and the room was big! Since we had been to the Kenai Peninsula before, this trip was... More

We recently spent 2 nights in Kenai Princess Lodge & thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The rooms were spotless, very spacious with a beautiful view of the gardens and wildlife from the balcony - ours even had a lovely wood fireplace. The staff were exceptional. I had a medical problem while there & the attention & help so willingly given by... More

Comfortable, spacious "cabin-type" accommodations. Walk into your high-ceiling room w/comfy bed, wood-burning stove in living room, kitchen table w/2chairs, sofa, flat screen tv, rear deck w/tbl+chairs. Walk down to the restaurant/bar (good food) w/deck overlooking picturesque river, nice walking trails. Enjoyed our stay.

Our family went on a 8 day tour of Alaska and we all beleive the Kenai Princess was the best of the 4 places we stayed. It's rustic yet has all the amenities needed. The views of the mountains and the Kenai River are outstanding. The staff was very professional and accommodating while the food was great too. There's a... More

We stayed here in this lovely log cabin for two nights. We had two queen size beds and good full bathroom. It was very large and exceptionally clean. It seemed like our own little home as a lovely wood burner complete with logs was in the corner of our room. However at the time of our stay it was unusually... More
