Stayed here in July 2013 with the family and it was really WORST experience of my life. The room was for two adults and and two kids and for a Queen Bed and Double Bed. At the time of reservation, following Amenities were promised: Microwave, Coffee Pot, Refrigerator, Private bathroom, Satellite TV & Wireless Internet. When we checked in our... More

Located off hwy 1, in Cooper Landing, plenty of parking, even for big trailers, right front of rooms. Good base for visits to Seward, Kenai, Sotdona, and Homer where prices are higher. Have gas, small groceries, bar and restaurant on premise. Foods are very good, home cooking. Our room was adequate, 2 beds, comfy enough, with frig, microwave and coffee... More

If you're simply looking for a place to stay for a night or two, this place fits the bill. It would probably serve the purpose for a lengthier stay if you're fishing with a bunch of buddies. It's not fancy, by any means, but it's perfectly acceptable. Reservation process was handled online and by email with no problems. Check-in was... More

The location is great for fishing or floating the Kenai River or the Russian River. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The price is good by Alaska standards. The scenery is outstanding right out the front door.

We stayed for two nights and found the motel to be clean and comfortable. It was a plus having the restaurant there as we found there is not much in Cooper Landing. I agree it was uncomfortable being checked in at the bar. The food in the restaurant was very good. Home made soup and pies will always get my... More

For three years in a row, I have stayed here with three other adults and one child the night before we head out on a winter cabin trip. The room includes three beds situated in little coves, so you have a bit of privacy. Also, it is economical to be able to stay at a place that can accommodate a... More

We got stuck in a blizzard while traveling between Anchorage & Kenai recently. It was 9:30pm and we could not travel any farther than Cooper Landing. We were afraid we would not find a place at such a late time that would take us in the off-season. We stopped at Wildman's store and the cashier there called the owner of... More

Needed a place to stay enroute from Denali to Seward, so were looking for simple sleeping accommodations for the night. Weren't sure what to expect based on other reviews, and was beginning to learn that standards for "stars" were a little lower than typical areas in the lower 48 and prices generally much higher. Got there early evening (I think... More

That's right people, don't buy the coffee for it is more expensive than the gasoline they sell. My girlfriend and I stopped by their cafe to have our Stanley thermous filled and was shocked at the $9.00 price tag that they charged us. My girlfriend went inside the cafe to ask if the price was a mistake, and the owner... More

We didn't stay at the Inn, but enjoyed the food enough to return for a second meal while staying in Cooper Landing.
