We shared this B & B with a number of fishermen. The rooms were very nice and the morning continental breakfast was plentiful and quite varied. Best part was the evening campfire where a novice fisherman can sit for hours and listen to all the great Kenai fish stories. George and Shirley were great innkeepers and really made everyone feel... George and Shirley were fantsatic! A lot of fisherman stayed here at the same time as us which wasn;t a problem at all, they were all very friendly and gave us the brilliant tips on where to find the bears! The Russian River was the best place close to the hotel, turn left out of hotel and it's a 5... More

We absolutely loved "The Hutch Bed & Breakfast" Mike and I were there from May 30-June 11, 2014. George and Shirley are both wonderful! The trip was on our bucket list and while we were there, we were married on the Kenai River. We were originally suppose to have a 6 week trip, but for some unfortunate circumstances, got cut... More

George and Shirley made us feel very welcome in their rustic decor property in Cooper Landing. The bed was super comfortable and our room was quiet and well equipped. The continental breakfast was fine. The B&B is set back from the main road and not far from the river. Good eating places are to be conveniently found a short drive... More

Located right on the Kenai River, this B&B is in a convenient location for travelers going from Anchorage to Homer. The hosts are very accommodating and friendly. The room was large, there were lots of amenities, and they even have a campfire every evening if you are interested in sharing travel experiences. A Continental Breakfast is included as well.

During our Alaska trip, we wanted to stay at a place where we would come to from Homer in the night and drive up towards Anchorage the next morning. We realized Cooper Landing was the ideal location and after reading reviews on couple of sites, zeroed down on Hutch. We drove in really late and we had George and Shirley... More

My Husband and I came up to visit family. (This is my first time to Alaska) The rooms are clean and simple with everything you need including free wifi and a comfortable bed. The owners are great people and very caring. I would highly recommend this place.

I have been making the annual pilgrimage to the Kenai River for 8 years now. The past 5 years we have stayed at The Hutch with George and Shirley. Not only is this a clean, well run B&B, but they treat their guests like family. Local guides regularly come by in the evenings to sit around the covered campfire and... More

We had never stayed in any B&B's before until our AK trip. Hutch B&B was the last of four and we were so fortunate to find 4 different ones that turned out to be so nice. This B&B was more of a rustic fish camp that we really enjoyed. The main bldg. had 4 private hotel size rooms on ea.... More

My wife and I recently spent 3 nights at The Hutch, with owners Shirley & George. They were great as were the other guests (many fisherman/woman). This is a very family oriented place. Very good $ value (especially for Alaska in August) in my opinion. We had a nice big room with a King Bed on the Second of 3... More
