Our 2 day visit to Aitutaki could have been a very sodden experience, because of the galewinds and rain,if it wasn't for Miles and Emma, who picked us up from the airport and took us for a tikki tour first, before delivering us to the lodge.Miles went out of his way to settle us in,organised a rental car, gave us tips what we could... My 5th time to Rarotonga and first time to Aitutaki, definitely one of my better stays. Miles is an excellent host, the rooms were clean and the grounds immaculate. Both Miles and the Owner have been working to upgrade the facilities (new Kayaks etc). If it is a quite relaxing stay to unwind and kickback, this is the place to... More

This place is the best value for money on the island. This was our 3rd out of 9 stays. We chose to split our holiday between resorts and self contained villas. Aitutaki island is amazing, we found the island to have better whether, its warmer and we didn’t experience any rain compared to Raratonga. Even though Aitutaki is expensive it... More

Great place to stay, Miles was an awesome host, he has good local knowledge and went out of his way to make sure I got the best out of my short stay in paradise. The highlight of my stay was the lagoon cruise with Puna organised by Miles, magical. I loved the private location of the bungalows which are close... More

For our honeymoon, we opted to spend a few days on Aitutaki, bookended by our time on Rarotonga. This was a fortuitous choice! Miles greeted us at the airport with the most wonderful eis (strands of fragrant flowers), helped us with our baggage and led us out to his car for a quick trip around that part of the island... I was greeted at the airport by Miles who was the most welcoming host. He took us to our beach bungalow which was located right on the beachfront and arranged for wine whilst we watched the beautiful sunset. I was a bit nervous reading previous posts, however the place has been under new ownership for the last 7 months or... More

There are 3 Bungalows right on the beach, we where the only Guests, so it felt even more secluded and private. The Cottage is very nice and spacious. The veranda is big and has a table and chairs to relax. The beach is very pretty and clean. I don't understand the other comment about the sea gurkins, i think it's... More

We were treated to a 5 day stay at the Seaside Lodges for our 26th anniversary, it was perfect! Miles and Emma, the new hosts, are very pleasant and attentive. The bungalow is very comfortable and Air Conditioned!!! this is a must during summer in Aitutaki. The kitchen had everything one would need to make home-cooked meals and daily breakfasts... More

Aitutaki is a lovely Island and the Seaside Lodges are well located. We were looking forward to enjoying this beach and intended to make full use of the kayaks, deckchairs and hammocks. Luckily we had read previous reviews so knew to take matches and a mosquito coils. Reality did not match up to expectations: kayaks sat on the beach broken... More

This has got to be one of the hidden gems of Aitutaki. Forget about past reviews this place is superb and compares very favourably to other beachside accommodations. I had a real good look! Just needs a bit of carpentary work on the terraces but the insides are brilliant with very well equipped kitchens - kettles, coffee machines, big fridge/freezer,... More
