We stayed at Etu Moana Villa 1 from June 13- June 20. After many hours of intense Internet research we did carefully select this place, and especially Villa No. 1 beachfront for the main part of our "South Seas dream holiday" - and to celebrate my 50th birthday. So expectations were very high. To cut it short, everything turned out... more

Wow where do I start - absolute value for money by a country mile! the gardens, the team, the view, the beach, the room, all perfect and imacculate. so much thought and detail has been put into this resort you cant help but instantly feel relaxed and spoiled. The resort is situated on the best beach on the island. We... more

Etu Moana is, simply put, one of the best if not the best accomodation I have ever stayed at. Pretty much everything has been written about this wonderful little gem of a resort. Read the reviews, build your own hype, but prepare to be blown away anyway... A few comments though: getting a reservation here is not easy. Apparently rooms... more

My wfie and I traveled to Etu for our honeymoon in Sept 2008. I could say so much but so much as been said. We got lucky at stayed in Villa #3, but to be honest all the villas are great in their own way. The experience starts the second you see the tiny island from your airplane. We were... more

My wife and I traveled to Aitutaki to celebrate her 40th birthday (a surprise trip, for which I hope to earn Trip Advisor's coveted "best husband" award). We stayed in Villa 6 at Etu Moana and had a wonderful stay. The villa had a lovely view and was very private. The wonderful staff took care of everything for us, including... more

Our short 9 days (9th to 19th May) at Etu Moana was simply sheer bliss. From the moment we saw Aitutaki from our aircraft, our heart skipped a beat. We have found paradise. And 9 days later, we left Aitutaki truly chilled out, and wishing we were staying there forever... Aitutaki is simply stunning. And it is true what everyone... more

This review is little late. We stayed in villa 4 for five days at the beginning of April, 2009. Getting to the resort was an adventure in itself! Our flight was delayed for 2 hours in LA but Air Rarotonga held the flight for the bunch of us who were travelling on to Aitutaki. We were guided through customs and... more

After all the rave reviews we simply couldn’t go past Etu Moana for our 9 night stay on Aitutaki. Everything is true, this place is simply the best. We visited a few of the other popular properties such as Aitutaki Lagoon Resort & Spa, Pacific Resort and Tamanu Beach, Etu Moana wins our vote hands down! As everyone says Jim... more

We spent 7 nights in heaven while staying at Etu Moana in villa 6. From the moment we stepped off the plane, Tere was waiting with a huge welcoming grin and ready to welcome us into the the 'family' that is Etu Moana. This was followed by Jim and Jo-anne greeting us with 'Welcome to Paradise' and a refreshing coconut... more
