Etu Moana was everything we had hoped for and more. A lovely property on the beach of Aitutaki. With only 10 villas it felt secluded and very special. The villa's are spacious and decked out with everything you need. The pool bar was a fabulous feature, especially as we had friends with us to share it with. Breakfast was very... More

Ok... so I studied Aitutaki reviews and re-read reviews several times before deciding to spend the big bucks at say at the Etu Moana - Glad we did it. The Islands are deserted hence the prices. Our rooms was absolutely gorgeous, the location is unreal and the ocean is beautiful. Free stand up paddle boards are essential way to explore... More

Having booked Etu Moana knowing it would only be for 2 weeks, I knew when I made the 2 week plan it would have the same amount of tears at departure as arrival. This is the second visit this year and one planned for upcoming Sept/Oct. Believe me trip upcoming number 11 is for ALOT longer than 2 weeks. Went... More

Beautifully located on the edge of the water, with magical Aitutaki lagoon only a few minutes drive (or bike ride) away. Our bungalow was one back from the water's edge, but due to positioning we still had a great view. Lovely breakfast bar beside the pool. Helpful staff who seamlessly go about their business. This place emphasises tranquillity at its... More

Etu Moana is incredible. It really is paradise personified. The staff are so warming and helpful, especially the current manager Meieke, who would do anything for you. The private beach has crystal clear water, and Etu Moana provides free Kayak's and SUP's, as well as snorkelling gear. The breakfast was plentiful, the selection of movies and books just added extras.... More

After an easy overnight flight from Los Angeles and a short layover in Rarotonga "airport" (small outdoor airport), we boarded our Air Rarotonga flight to Aitutaki. 45 mins later we arrived and were greeted with fragrant leis from an Etu Moana employee. We grabbed our bags and within 10 minutes were at the resort holding coconut drinks with umbrellas. We... More

My husband and I chose this property after reading the rave reviews and after our stay we were so happy that we did. The staff are so friendly and hospitable and the entire stay is designed so that you may be self sufficient whilst on a very peaceful island. The villas are very private and spacious. The views from all... More

Wow. What an amazing place! We flew direct from Australia (overnight = no sleep!) and arrived early in the morning, the other guests were all having (what looked to be, and was proven later to be amazing) breakfast around the pool - we saw this during our personalised tour of the property when we arrived. This was just the beginning... More

Very private villas, relaxing, great views, great beach, great for kayaking, great for watching the sunset from the sun bed with cocktail in hand {that you made yourself from the honesty bar} but no restaurant. Do you need one ? No. It would take the atmosphere away. Buffet breakfast at poolside included in tarrif. Service desk is very helpful in... More

We visited Aitutaki in early June and stayed at Etu Moana. It met and exceeded all our expectations, with views from our room of the idyllic white sand beach with turquoise waters and fantastic sunsets. The staff are soooo friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble for them. Lying under a palm tree on the lounges, afternoon naps, "gin"... More
