There was a very warm welcome from all of the staff at Etu Moana. The Villas are perfectly situated either in the garde area or directly in front of the lagoon. The pool area where we also had a wonderful Tropical breakfast with lovely bread specialities is beautiful. You can also use the mountainbikes from Etu Moana to explore the... More

We only 2 nights on Aitutaki however our stay was amazing. Tim & Lucille were great hosts and gave us helpful advice on maximising our short stay with them. The villas are fantastic, very private and have everything you need. Will be coming back to Aitutaki in the future for a longer stay. Highly recommend this as a destination for... More

we've just spent 6 nights at Etu Moana, and i can recommend it to anyone who wants a relaxed stay with non-intrusive staff and a great atmosphere. it is very laid back and a perfect place for chilling out. stay someplace else if you want the full-on resort treatment - that is not etu moana and it is the richer... As the title suggests this place really delivered for us. A very quiet beachside location with a beautifully finished villa. As we're so used to in the Cook Islands we were met with a very warm welcome and a nice tour and explanation of the resort. Despite the rain on arrival we were so impressed with everything we really didn't... More

My wife and I spent 4 days and 5 nights at Etu Moana in late August 2014. Like some of the other less enthusiastic reviewers, we thought that this resort fell short of the expectations built by its TripAdvisor hype and prices. To start with the positives, Etu Moana’s location is beautiful. Yes, the reef in front of the beach... More

What a spectacular island, and even more spectacular retreat - Aitutaki and Etu Moana, in particular, have etched wonderful memories into our minds forever! Apologies for taking so long to write this review. We visited a couple of years ago, and although we are still dreaming of Etu Moana and our return to Aitutaki, I had forgotten about reviewing it... We walked and cycled (supplied by Etu Moana) all around the island and we think this is the absolute best place to stay. Tranquil, private, amazing sunsets, superb breakfasts by the pool served by friendly staff and exceptional hosts - thank you Lucile and Tim. The villas have self-catering if you wish to enjoy your dinner (locally caught fresh fish)... More
