It was our second trip to Aitutaki. I chose to stay at Sunny Beach Lodge because our first stay was wonderful. The lodge is cozy, affordable, quiet and close to restaurants and store. Also Aroha (manager) is very helpful. I am not sure when I return the island, but I would choose to stay there again. They added several of... more

Whilst the owners of Sunny beach Lodge are lovely people, we were initially disappointed with this accommodation. Originally we booked into the studio units and after the first night we decided to upgrade to the beachfront villa's, because we didn't like the studio units as the bed was really uncomfortable and the units were more suited to backpacker style travelers... more

We had a great time at the Sunny Beach Lodge. We were picked up at the airport and taken to the lodge. The location is nice, really close to the beach with palm trees. It is located closely to the expensive Pacific Resort. We rented some kayaks further along and the boys had a great time. The fish are beautiful.... more

A Good clean and tidy place to stay.. No Frills etc. but definately a lovely area for snorkeling straight off the beach and the sunsets are stunning. Wandered down to the lagoon at end of section and watched them every night. Photos amazing. Went to island night at Tamanu Resort just along the road and Pacific Resort was at end... more

We stayed at Sunny Beach Lodge for one week and loved it every day. It's a very small and quiet place. Every room is like a suite with bath, living room, kitchen and bedroom. It's all very close to a lovely beach and about 2km away from the center of the village. There are shops and a motorcycle rental nearby.... more

We stayed at the Sunny Beach Lodge recently. The owners were very friendly. We were picked up at the airport and taken to our unit. The unit was very clean and had everything that we needed. Handy things like an oven instead of just a microwave, pegs and a covered washingline. It rained on the last day and we were... more

After staying one sleepless night at the vile Gina’s Garden Lodge, and with another 6 nights before we were flying out of Aitutaki back to Rarotonga, we were looking for somewhere relaxing, paradisial, and with an all round good vibe. Sunny Beach Lodge gave us exactly that. No demands to pay up front, no nasty big cockroaches, just an easy... more

We just returned from a stay on Aitutaki at Sunny Beach Lodge. We loved the place and highly recommend it for ambience, value and meeting the friendly family who own it. Our bungalow was large and included a huge bed, full kitchen, dining area and nice bathroom, all spotlessly clean. The veranda is perfect for spending the day reading, with... more

We arrived and were picked up by the owner, Aroha, who drove us herself from the airport to the Lodge. The room was large, airy, well equipped for a lodge and only 35 metres from the water's edge. We had a large veranda, chairs and a table to enjoy resting in the daytime shade, or watching the evening light change.... more

A great spot. Stay in one of the brand new beach front bungalows if you can. Property is on the same beach as the exclusive Pacific Resort. It is centrally located and is an easy walk into the main township. Rata and family will do everything they can to make you holiday special. My wife and I have visited many... more
