I stayed there (October 1 to 3, 2014) after a 9 day stay on Rarotonga during a 13 day snorkeling trip. I highly recommend doing the 2-island holiday in that order. I was in unit #206 that had a lagoon view and was very spacious. The bed and air conditioning were a big improvement to what I had on Rarotonga.... More

We spent 12 nights here for our honeymoon and had a fantastic time, no regrets at all. The majority of the staff were very friendly. The villa was extremely spacious, we stayed in 204 and still had a view of the sea from our deck but without the higher price tag of the beachfront villas. The beach was so close... More

We stayed at Tamanu beach for 9 nights late September early October. We are a family of four, my Husband, myself and our two teenage sons. We were really happy with our one bedroom lagoon view room. We were lucky to get the one closest to the beach and we had an amazing view of the lagoon. The room was... More

went to tamanu beach for three days after 9 days on rarotonga. The Cook Islands is a beautiful - very friendly place. Tamanu beach was also beautiful. i had an ocean front room (which is actually a free standing building). You could snorkel off the beach and see a wide variety of fish and coral. The bed was comfortable and... More

As part of a journey throughout the Pacific we came on the Island Aitutaki and stayed in the Tamanu Beach Resort. This turned out to be a very good choice. Clean rooms, friendly service, the best steak ever in the restaurant. Enough privacy eventhough it was nearly full. Very helpfull at the reception if you want to do a tour.... More

Loved our stay here. Wish we could've stayed longer, comfortable, friendly, so helpful and very clean. Arrived as strangers left as friends. Food yummy, great breakfasts, island night a must do. Do get up to dance if you are asked. Fun and laughter for all. Ask for outer edge table on this night. You MUST do the lagoon cruise -... More

My husband and I recently spent a wonderful 6 nights at Tamanu Beach. We were fortunate to stay in bungalow 203 on the beach and spent hours just sitting on the porch looking at the lagoon and soaking up the beautiful atmosphere. The room decor is chic and comfortable. The staff were all helpful and friendly. The food in the... More

Very nice rooms and views on the lagoon, good snorkelling spot just meters away and water is crystal clear. Nice staff at restaurant and cleaning teams, good food too. Only downside is the roosters which can wake you up at any time during the night, and roam around the resort pretty much all nights. Other than this, great experience and... More

A wonderful place to stay. Our one bedroom villa was very spacious, comfortable bed with all conveniences. No kitchen, but a small fridge, electric jug only. Lovely outdoor area to sit and relax with a view to the lagoon. Beautiful flowers in room on arrival. Staff were very obliging and we loved the laid back atmosphere and being close by... More
