We stayed here for 3 nights to begin our trip in Cook Islands....and we were not disappointed. The room had a full kitchen which was great. Although not your ultimate luxury, the room is a bit tired (especially bathroom), it does not make any difference to your stay as the service is just amazing!! The dinners we had there were... More

The best part about Tamanu Beach is its location - on the beachfront, providing the most pristine views. Staff are friendly and helpful. Room maintenance could be better, though. The bug problem needs to be sorted, too.

We got a bungalow close to the lagoon. It was great, with a beautiful view of the lagoon. We had some rain unfortunatelly, but it was just a shower now and then. The complimentary breakfast was nothing special but we ate most of it.... it was a grocery store close to tamanu beach so it was not a big deal... More

Very clean and nice facility and the people are very helpful. We had a great time and would recommend to all. A couple things to note are that everyone is on island time and not in any rush to do anything in a hurry. The restaurant food was great but the menu was very limited. There is no microwave, radio... I have stayed at Tamanu Beach twice over the last three years and it is a great spot for rest and relaxation, reading a book on your balcony with a glass of wine and watching the amazing sunset. Bangalows are great, cleaned every day, open and facing the beach, staff are great especially the housekeepers and food and beverage staff... More

We stayed in a Lagoon Front Bungalow that had a view that was unforgettable for. Crystal clear waters in the lagoon with plenty to see when snorkeling. The staff were friendly & helpful and the entertainment enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble. Our stay included ANZAC Day & the Dawn Service & morning procession were worth seeing. The people of... More

Anyone that's looking to step back, relax and ditch their watch for a week. This is the place. From the day we arrived to the minute we left all our needs were catered for. The staff made sure all meals and tour bookings were perfect with special mention to the GM and his wife who gave it their personal touch... More

Over all , the accommodation was lovely , meals were great, staff were friendly. the bungalows were very attractive with everything there. The pool was great , and so close to the beach. A beautiful environment and super people. Staff/reception was only too happy to make bookings. On the down side, attention could/should have been given more to maintenance of... More

Kia Orana Beryl, Thank you for your constructive feedback and I'm sorry to hear there were some missed maintenance issues, but I'm pleased to know that you found our Tamanu Beach staff helpful and friendly, and that the meals were great. Regarding the WiFi, I'm not sure what difference receiving 'free WiFi' would have made. If your device cannot find... More

We stayed at Tamanu beach for our wedding anniversary. Staff were relatively helpful and quite friendly. There were amazing water views from our garden bungalow and great snorkeling, and we recommend the giant clam trip however improvements could be made with the basics such as the room cleaning (ie topping up toilet rolls) and replacing towels with holes. We were... More

Thank you for your feedback and I'm sorry to hear the BBQ meat was not cooked quite to your liking, but was pleased to know that on the whole you found our Tamanu Beach staff helpful and friendly. Regarding our no children policy, yes you're correct and we only accept children aged 12 years and over, however our public areas... More

Stayed here in April for our honeymoon. The place was perfect for us. The room was very spacious, clean and had a good view of the lagoon. Staff were all helpful when we needed any help with places to eat, tours to go on or any other general enquiries. Bicycles on site which were helpful during the day (no street... More
