I was a little worried about booking the Aitutaki Lagoon Resort & Spa due to a few not so good reviews, however we were very pleasantly surprised by our stay. The resort definitely has the most picturesque location on the island, and the lagoon took our breath away. We stayed in an overwater bungalow, and being able to wake up... More

Our stay at the Lagoon Resort was exactly what we needed - so relaxing and peaceful - no noisy kids or overcrowded facilities. Our over water bungalow was perfect for the 5 days we spent on Aitutaki with comfortable bed and clean facilities. When we arrived the staff had dressed the room up with local tropical flowers which made for... More

I paused for a couple of weeks before writing this review. On the one hand it is this resort is easily in the most stunning location on all of Aitutaki, with beautiful rooms and facilities - on the other hand the service was unsure and just not up to 5-star standard. Let me just say that we had an absolutely... More

We spent 4 days and three nights in an over the water bungalow on the south side of the island. The resort was spectacular and the service excellent. We were there in mid-March and their were less than 40 folks on the island. The Flying Boat bar was great and so was the food. When in Aitutaki always order the... More

After loving Rarotonga early this year we traveled to Aitutaki for our wedding & honeymoon. On Aitutaki's main island, I would recommend the pan seared Tuna at Koro Cafe (it was so good we went back the next day & ordered the same meal again); Samade for sunset dinner or drinks; and The Boat Shed for drinks with a breeze... There seems to be a mix of reviews for this property. My husband and I found it perfect. Our bungalow was the most comfortable we stayed in on our trip. The views from every corner or angle are beyond beautiful. The Lagoon just stretches out all around almost endlessly. There is also a very nice pool although no one ever... More

This hotel is without a doubt on the beat part of the lagoon. The rooms are spacious, clean and all have great views of the water. The thing that makes this hotel average is the staff- they are all rude, slow and not interested. The service is of a very poor standard- from front desk, to bar staff to the... More

Gobsmacked is the best way to describe my reaction upon mooring up to this little piece of paradise. Everywhere u turn is postcard perfect!!! My husband & I stayed in an overwater bungalow & we were very happy with what it had to offer... waking up with that view every morning was just mind blowing! The staff were all super... More

This was our island paradise, we had great accomodation in beachfront suite. The suite was well furnished Island style, we had modern fittings, it was very clean and well maintained. Enjoyed the fact that you could only shower in a private outside semi dome with an overhead shower head that was attached to the suite. We were only seconds away... More

I was really hesitant about booking here because of the negative reviews.. BUT.. I'm so glad I went with my instinct, it was perfect. 1. The rooms aren't exactly five star (modern) but it was really well kept and clean. The design is quite traditional so doesn't live up to the standards of expensive, modern/chic design, but this is the... More
