Atiu Villas has to be the 'pick' accommodation on Atiu. Set among wonderful gardens. And Jackie is a star, what an incredible and beautiful young lady, thanks for all you do to make Atiu a wonderful experience. We stayed in the one bedroom villa and it was very spacious and comfortable. Totally in keeping with the lovely garden setting with... More

I've been to the Cook Islands before, but never to Atiu. I'm sorry that I didn't discover this island before. If you are looking for a quiet, out of the way paradise, then this is it. There were probably only tourists on the island when we visited. The staff were very attentive and helpful, especially Jackie (sp?) who picked us... More

If you are a caver, and get home in the evening all dirty, stinking, tired, sticky..you'd like to plunge in a swimming pool after you have spread all your samples and gears on the patio. Well, Atiu Villas is the right place. Roger (Malcom) is a very understanding human being, albeit he has his own opinions, and you may be... More

If you go to Cook Island, do not miss Atiu island and feel you out of world. Fantastic shells, fantastic place, clean room, peaceful emotions. Reserve before to arrive, and stay not less than a week if you can.Or 3 days at least.

We've both been to Aitu before but this was our first stay here. Great room with a full larder.Decent kitchen facilities and large living area. The real prize though was Jackie the concierge. She could easily work at a high end hotel. Very personable, knowledgeable and tenacious to make our stay five star. We had a great time at the... More

We enjoyed our visit and pleased we can tick off another Island that we have visited. Nice and relaxed nothing too much trouble. Nice way to meet others staying by sitting at the long table for dinner - and delicious dinner. Interesting to meet the Myna Bird lady - excellent job being done to eradicate this pesty bird.

Four of us stayed in the family villa which was a good size. Every morning we adjourned to the deck, enjoyed local coffee, fresh fruit, coconut and food from the stocked kitchen (reasonable extra cost). Listening to the birds and trying to spot them in the trees. We were there for three nights and managed to see the dinner and... More

A fantastic get-away! Such beautiful surroundings and fitting accommodation. We loved staying at Rodger's Villas. The rooms were clean, tidy and comfortable and the cupboards/fridge were packed with food which was handy as there are limited places to buy food on the island.

There are some very interesting things to do on Atiu: tours of the ecology and caves, drinking bush beer and checking out the coffee. By all means, be a little bit active. On the other hand, sit on the deck of your villa, take a dip in the pool, eat Kura's amazing meals, and just go for the peaceful feeling... More

A wonderful 3 days, but not the place if you want sophistication, restaurants and spas! The island has a population of only 478 and at full capacity can accommodate 40 tourists (although this is rarely attained) My daughter had been working as a volunteer vet on Rarotonga for 3 months. I went to join her for 10 days at the... More
