We LOVED every second of our visit to La Pirogue - warm water, beautiful sunsets looking over to Bora Bora, and fun kayak/snorkeling adventures. Located on a motu in the lagoon of shared by Tahaa and Raiatea, the hotel is very private and you will definitely have the feeling of getting away from it all. The flower filled rooms are... More

The hotel was absolutely perfect our entire stay. The second we arrived, the hotel gave us free welcome drinks (whatever we wanted). Our room was so pretty, and the hotel acknowledged our honeymoon by giving us a small bottle of Nicolas Feuillatte. The food is incredible- the chef is extremely talented and each course was just as beautiful as it... More

We stayed here for three nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The hotel is located on its own private island, and it was awesome to have the experience of really getting away from it all. The rooms are certainly "rustic", with simple furnishings, mosquito nets, and no AC, but this really adds to the experience. The bathrooms were quite nice,... More

I've been saving this review for last because I wanted to spend some time on it. It seems not many Americans go here and some of them have had different expectations. We went to Bora Bora and stayed in an overwater bungalow after staying here, and while the overwater bungalow was amazing and one of the main reasons for going... More

Stayed here in July. Since there arent very many english comments I decided to post mine. We arrived in the big island of Tahiti at 5am. We had to wait around until noon to catch our flight to Tahaa. Most shops dont open until around 9am in Tahiti. There is absolutely nothing to do at the airport. If you know... More

My husband and I stayed there for 2-3 days during out honeymoon in French Polynesia. Below are some of our thoughts on the experience: Quality: The room was large and spacious, facing the beach, but ill equipped. Mosquito nets didnt work, fan barely stirred up a breeze and the bathroom was cramped. We had requested a particular bungalow 10 months... More

The hotel is pretty simple, owned by a couple who left Europe to open this place. The hotel would be cozy, if the bed linen was not smelling so bad. After going there i read here some reviews saying that the owners were very nice, but none were nice with us, especially the woman. The food was one of the... More

This hotel was the first one where me and my wife spent three days during our honeymoon. According to our expectations this should have been the most basic among our honeymoon accommodations, with beach suites and overwater bungalows planned for the next days. La Pirogue turned out to be our best memory of Polynesia and simply perfect considering the climate... More
