The Le Taha'a Island Resort & Spa is a gorgeous luxury resort with an authentic Polynesian feel. When you first arrive, you are greeted with a crown of flowers, which is different than any other greeting you receive in French Polynesia. The check in area is open and spacious, and the staff are very friendly. The accommodations at Le Taha'a... More

What a wonderful retreat from the world. We spent five days there over the Thanksgiving holiday and could not have enjoyed it more. The staff made us feel like we were part of the community and so welcome. The resort itself is beautiful and very well kept. Water is perfectly clean and clear. The only thing better than the view... Anyone who complains or didn't care for this place "Le Taha'a" absolutely needs help in more ways than a vacation! The property is beautiful and with all it's natural wood, used in the construction, making it classy as well. The only way to arrive here is by boat, so that already makes it a little adventurous and intriguing. The resort... More

After our Nov 8 wedding, we were ready to unplug when we finally got to Le Taha'a Resort on a late Tuesday morning. We were welcomed with a pleasant Vanilla/ Lime cocktail and were allowed to catch breakfast which was offered after we checked in. The manager Jean and Sumasaki (spelling?) were fantastic in welcoming us to the property. We... More

This was my 50th birthday dream vacation, Taha'a was the first stop and we spent 4 nights (spent 6 in Bora Bora afterwards.) We arrived after 26 hours of travel at 10:30 am and were greeted by the concierge team (many thanks to Ben) and Julien, the General Manager. We were whisked off for a tour of the hotel and... More

Le Taha'a is definitely a jewel. We spent 3 nights on Moorea, 4 on Taha'a and 4 on Bora Bora and found the secluded charm of Le Taha'a far surpassed anything we could have imagined! If you are going to French Polynesia you MUST book a stay at this resort. We loved it because it was a smaller boutique hotel... More

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, everything was great as usual in the Relais Chateaux, we chose a beach villa because we were staying at an overwater bungalow at St Regis Bora Bora....it was a perfect choice, our villa was amazing... The food is great with reasonable prices...the spa is just ok but we did a massage by... More

My husband and I first stayed at Le Taha'a in September 2010 to celebrate my 50th birthday. This year my husband turned 60 and his wish was to return to French Polynesia. Both trips we booked through Claudia and Jennifer at Pacific For Less - this is THE ONLY way to go for finding the perfect place(s) for the best... More

We recently spent two weeks in French Polynesia. We stayed at three different resorts, Hilton Moorea, Hilton Bora Bora and Le Teha’a. There are separate reviews for each resort but this is by way of introduction and general comments. We also spent one night in Papeete at the Le Meridien and were glad it was only one night. This is... More
