We loved the room, the service and the lagoon. We saw small black tip sharks, turtles, several different type of fishes. We stayed in Room #6 on the Bora Bora side and it was fantastic. Water was warm and the lagoon is huge. You can walk from any of the Bora Bora rooms to the small island. The lagoon is... More

We enjoyed our 4 nights on that island resort a lot. We had the overwater villa 42, which was fantastic. Long way to the restaurant and coral garden though. But we didn’t mind at all. The walk was necessary after having such a great breakfast every morning. Enough excercise besides snorkeling in the coral garden and in the lagoon. The... More

The first thing to say about this resort is that the General Manager was absolutely excellent. He was on hand to greet incoming guests and was always around to ensure everybody had what they needed. He was aware of what each guest wanted to do and to facilitate it. We had requested twin beds and on arrival were upgraded to... More

Wow, what a really lovely resort with a fabulous staff. From the moment we were met at the airport, through the return, the staff went out of their way to make sure we were having a wonderful vacation. The boat ride from the airport was enjoyable, even though it was an extremely long travel day from Chicago to Taha’a. We... More

When we arrived at taha'a island the resort was very promising, huge beautiful rooms with a private pool and other members of our party had lovely over-water bungalows. However, as our stay progressed cracks began to appear. The gym was tired with limited equipment, some of which did not work, food was hit and miss and with only really once... More

I would have rated Le Taha'a excellent except we then moved on to the Four Seasons, Bora Bora which is in a different class. Don't get me wrong we had a lovely time here. My only main criticism is that the infrastructure is looking tired with some decking around the restaurant area rotting and breaking away. The toaster was a... More

From the moment we were picked up at the airport, we were well taken care of. You will fly into Raiatea and then shuttled by boat to Le Taha'a (about a 30-40 minute boat ride). Each and every staff member was kind, helpful, and always smiling. Le Taha'a exceeded our expectations in every way. The restaurant was FABULOUS!!!! The buffet... More

We recently made a stop in Taha'a to celebrate our anniversary. This was such a relaxing, beautiful resort. The overwater bungalows are large, clean, relaxing, excellent climate control and privacy. The beach bungalows are even nicer. Large, separate living areas, large bathroom, quiet, peaceful and private bedrooms, private pool and beach access. The breakfast buffet and dinner options are decent.... More

Recent anniversary trip. Multiple concerns about current condition of this resort. Island is beautiful and our beachfront one bedroom villa was ideal for privacy and beach location. Unfortunately room and much of resort in need of renovation/upgrade. Outside pool deck had loose boards, beach and pool chairs uncomfortable at best. Fitness facility unacceptable, and by previous reports in Trip Advisor... More

Getting here is not easy but its part of the adventure! You will have to get a flight into Raiatea then take a 30 minute water taxi. If part of your trip you will be going to Bora Bora, Bora Bora faces Tahaa and its a very short distance. We found it easier to go to Bora Bora first (... More
