My husband and I visited the French Polynesia for our honeymoon and stayed at the Le Taha'a Island Resort & Spa for four nights followed by six nights at the St. Regis on Bora Bora. We've done another TripAdvisor review for the St. Regis, but we wanted to mention that the Le Taha'a / St. Regis combo was a perfect... More

We looooooved Le Taha'a resort but by day 4, we were getting a little bit of island fever. It's a beautiful Relais and Chateaux resort but we did not have the best weather. We really enjoyed Ohiri, the gourmand restaurant, a private cooking class with the sous chef, our couples massage in the spa, and snorkeling in the coral garden.

The resort is very tropical and secluded. You arrive by boat. My husband and I stayed in one of the villas. It was very spacious, private and romantic. We had our own beach, which included a comfy hammock. The villa was beautiful and spacious and included an outdoor shower! We had a small private pool and gorgeous landscaping. The food... More

I can not say enough about this location. During our Honeymoon in the French Polynesia this was by far the best part of our stay. The staff really went above and beyond, they were super friendly and we felt like we were hanging out with friends. We had a small problem with the shower head and within minutes of calling... More

Le Taha'a was stop #3 (of 5) of our French Polynesia honeymoon and was by far the best part of it. As a Relais et Chateaux resort, you expect nothing but the best in service, comfort and experience, and that's exactly what we got. Staff is friendly, helpful and patient. I had made a request for a bungalow near the... More

Le Taha'a is fantastic in terms of service. The manager personally introduced himself upon arrival, and made sure everything was perfect every time we saw him thereafter. We had overwater bungalow #28 and the room was fantastic. There were flowers on the bed and throughout when we arrived, a complimentary bottle of champagne, and some chocolates and sweets. Probably the... More

After arriving at the airport in Raiatea we were greeted by a Le Taha'a bellhop who took our bags and escorted us to our private boat transfer. Since we arrived after dark we really couldn't get the lay of the land but it certainly felt like we were headed to a secluded island getaway, we couldn't have been more right.... More

From the moment you arrive, it is like no other place, the boat ride to get there was awesome then you see the bungalows over the water and you know you have finally arrived. We were escorted to our room, and what a glorious surprise!!! Insane, beautiful, romantic, large exquisite rooms, beautiful in every detail, waking up each morning to... More

This was our first trip here, coming from Bora Bora. The general manager Julian meet us at the boat dock to personally welcome us. The resort is beautiful and very quiet. The coral gardens are spectacular. We found the food very good and the cheeseburgers by the pool are fantastic. We have nothing negative to say about this property. The... More
