This was my 2nd Wonderful Adventure to Le Tahaa Private Resort. The Overwater Sunset Rooms are the Best. I had room 43 and it is secluded with beautiful sunsets and the most pleasant housekeeping crew. Dominique in housekeeping even remembered me from 2006 trip. The property has changed hands in management, to a person named Christine. I was not impressed... more

Where shall we start. Beautiful natural island. Most staff were quite unaccomodating. Food very mediocre and extremely over priced. We booked several activities but most did not happen as the people running them just did not turn up. Our chalet on the beach was lovely and the plunge pool was a nice bonus in the heat. more

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in May/June, after 3 nights at the Sofitel Moorea. We arrived at the Raiatea airport on a Sunday morning, and were met by cheerful staff members of Le Taha'a who loaded our luggage onto a small boat just a few yards away. The short boat ride to Motu Tau Tau, where... more

We were completely blown away by Le Tahaa. One of the best stays we have ever had. They were great in meeting us in Raiatea and taking us to the motu that Le Tahaa is located on. They were wonderfully warm and accommodating. The tour of the resort was amazing - we never wanted to leave. We found the grounds... more

Extraordinary hotel, way above standards in terms of accomodation. Outstanding scenery on a private island. We had room 41 at the end of a deck, with total privacy. Staff was extremely helpful, professional and pleasant. Gourmet restaurant was closed due to low occupation and the other one was ok. Lunch at the pool restaurant was excellent as well as room... more

We stayed at Le Tahaa for 3 nights as a part of our honeymoon. This is a very private, mostly couples island. We had a great time, can't complain about much, apart from the poor service and arrogant french staff. We booked a helicopter transfer to Bora Bora, I confirmed with them TWICE and we were told upon arrival the... more

The second I arrived I never wanted to leave! My husband and I stayed here as the second "leg" of our honeymoon. We had overwater sunset bungalow #46 and we were in heaven. We enjoyed our room which provided us with many of the Manea spa products. Upon arrival at the Raiatea airport, we were met by a representative of... more

This was the fourth hotel in our 10 night Feb 2009 honeymoon in FP (see other reviews for IC Tahiti, IC Moorea and IC Thalasso Bora Bora). We arrived via helicopter from Bora Bora, with great views of the ocean, which was also convenient since we didn’t have to take a boat, flight, and another boat to get to the... more

My husband and I visited Le Taha'a during our honeymoon and stayed for four nights. We are a young NYC couple who travel often for business and leisure. We saved Taha'a for the end of our trip per many friends' recommendations. However, after staying at the Sofitel Moorea (which we highly recommend), we were SERIOUSLY DISAPPOINTED by the quality of... more

We flew into Raitea and boarded the scenic 25 minute private boat shuttle to this exclusive five star resort. Set on a motu off the untouched shores of the island Tahaa, this resort is like a dream. The resort sports several categories of overwater bungalows, Beach Villas with private pools, and a Royal Villa. We stayed in a Tahaa Overwater... more
