We stayed here and at the Four Seasons in Bora Bora. I liked the room here better. It just felt more "Tahitian" with a tall roof and coral on the walls. Taha'a is also not as developed as Bora Bora, so it seems more peaceful. High end Tahaa is about 1/3 the price as high end Bora Bora, and the... More

This resort had some of the best food I've ever had in my lifetime. It was definitely expensive but worth every penny. I still think about the food a year later! Resort overall is impeccably maintained. It's on a private island but there is an amazing coral garden that you can float down and take pictures. We brought a little... More

This property is still the most amazing property I have ever been to. The approach is by helicopter or boat, which is stunning either way. The food was fresh and diverse. The staff was attentive without being overly intrusive. The over water bungalows are beautiful and add a uniqueness to living unprecedented by any other facility.

Jennifer at Pacific for Less recommended this hotel and are we glad we went! Intimate and with a true Polynesian feeling, this hotel is a gem in the middle of paradise. We booked a Pontoon room, the one closest to the lagoon, TOTALLY WORTH IT!! we had complete privacy and the ocean felt ours. Room is fantastic and you can... More

went to Le Taha´a for our honeymoon, the hotel is amazing. Located at a private Island with a coral garden near by with tons of fishes and sea life. we stayed at a over the water bungalow, great room with an amazing view. the service is fantastic. Polinisian Show was a lot of fun with the fire show and dances.... More

Many of the reviews on this site are very accurate as far as what to expect. Bottom line- even though this required 36 hours of travel, we will be returning. Caveat- we did not stay at any other resort in Polynesia, so I cannot compare to those. We heard from other travelers that had stayed at other glamorous and expensive... More

I am very picky about hotels and use Trip Advisor to set my expectations properly before I arrive. I have to say that I am surprised to see Le Taha'a getting 5 star reviews consistently. Yes, it is hard to complain about Polynesia because it is spectacular, but this hotel is not a 5 star hotel. At this moment, I... More

This resort was our 2nd stay on a 12 day trip for our 25th anniversary. For us, this was paradise. Everything one thinks about when one imagine's French Polynesia - was Le Taha'a. We loved it! I have to stay it was our favorite. I was sad and not ready to leave! After landing in Raitea, we were shuttled via... More

I am writing this from a solo traveler point of view. I choose this property confident that I would be safe and well cared for. I was 100% correct. I booked with Tahitian legends Lisa C.she was available to my numerous questions and changes in venue. Every step of my trip was as Lisa planned,No unforeseen issues, smooth sailing.... The... More

What a wonderful place to stay after our visit to Bora Bora. It is definitely more quiet and laid back than Bora Bora, but still with plenty of water activities. The overwater bungalow was beautiful. The craftsmanship and look of the whole resort felt very Polynesian. It looked as if the set designers from Mad Men had conceived of the... More
