My wife and I spent 6 days at LeTahaa Island Resort and Spa and 4 nights at Bora Bora Intercontinental for our 15th anniversary. After reading reviews, we decided to request a beach villa at the far end of the resort (49 or 50). We were thrilled that we got Villa 50. The beach villa was beautiful - we called... More

(We spent 16 days in French Polynesia after our wedding in AZ. We stayed at The Brando for 3 nights, Le Taha'a for 4 nights, and the Four Seasons Bora Bora for 5 nights. Please keep in mind we are not normally luxury travelers--we typically stay at Westins and other mid-level SPG properties.) Our second stop on our honeymoon was... More

When you picture the idyllic post-card perfect Polynesian retreat, Le Taha'a is that place so I hugely recommend it for couples looking for that very exclusive, private, tropical retreat. From the moment you arrive on the small Taha'a boat transfer and you see the small islet with its overwater bungalows lit up magically (as we arrived at sundown), it just... More

This might be the most magical and romantic places I've ever travelled to. My husband and I stayed here for the first week of our honeymoon. Le Taha'a offers barefoot luxury and unique opportunities like private gourmet dining under the stars while being serenaded by traditional music, private champagne picnic excursion to explore and enjoy a deserted island as well... Lovely, quiet hotel; 5 star service; over water bungalow was beautifully appointed..great a/c. Lagoon setting, resort has its own coral reef for snorkeling with amazing quantity and variety of fish. The restaurants and pool area very nice. A great place for an authentic Polynesian experience.

In this category, this is the nicest place we stayed at during our trip across French Polynesia. And the best staff too, very professional but with the island touch. We were lucky to get a Bora Bora overwater suite bungalow from the general manager (not that seeing Bora Bora from far away is that particular, but these suites offer complete... More

This resort is breathtakingly beautiful. Everything I dreamed French Polynesia would be. The staff was gracious and helpful in every way. The night before we left the staff had a special table set for us with beautiful flowers. We had to leave before breakfast was served but a small table with pastries and coffee was waiting for us as we... More

After an 8 hour flight, another small plane and a boat ride, I feel like we made it to paradise. Pros: Overwater Bungalows (shallow/calm waters/cool fish swimming by) Breakfast buffet (Sophie took really good care of us!) Snorkeling/Coral Gardens everyday. We also saw dolphins, sting rays, urchins, and etc around the hotel. Cons: Having to leave :(

This was our first trip to French Polynesia, and we only stayed at this hotel, so I cannot compare it to any other hotel experience in FP (Bora Bora, Moorea, etc). I can only comment on my experience at this resort, and it was a superb. We had arranged our trip thru Tahiti Legends, who handled all our flight connections... More
