So I'll start off by saying the scenery is amazing. You really can't knock this type of view and it's so iconically beautiful with the overwater bungalows. However: - The interiors of the bungalow's are outdated - The service was spotty at best. Long waits at the pool for service, dismissive staff, etc (Note, an exception was the concierge who... More

My new husband and I stayed here for the second half of our honeymoon. We started off in Bora Bora and we were surprised to like this resort so much more. Bora Bora is beautiful butt it is much more commercial and touristy. Le Teha'a is authentic and feels more secluded. The food in the main restaurant and by the... More

I was there last week for my honeymoon. My husband and I had been to Moorea first and then Bora Bora to the same chains hotel, the "pearl beach ones" and we were expecting a lot from this place. I have to say I was pretty deceived considering it should be a five star hotel. The overwater suite was beautiful,... More

This was the third resort that we stayed at during our two week French Polynesian journey and celebration of our 30th Wedding Anniversary. The Le Taha Island Resort experience begins when you arrive at a small airport on a nearby island. We were instantly greeted by a resort representative as we got off our plane and entered the quaint airport.... More

This hotel is absolutely lovely!! It is truly like being on a deserted island, the coral garden snorkel experience is amazing but go with Mark the pool guide though as you we feel safer and see many more fish. Breakfast is very good indeed with a la carte options. Excellent view over the lagoon to the Mt Otemanu. Polynesian show... More

Excellent bungalows - especially recommended the ones over water. Excellent service and amenities. Only Relais Chateau in the whole French Polynesia. Best snorkelling place around. It's placed on the very exclusive Motu Tau Tau, close by the island of Taha and in front of Bora Bora - next to be visited !

We started our Honeymoon in French Polynesia at this resort. We had an end of pontoon overwater bungalow. The stay just blew away all of our expectations. The staff was amazing. There are not so many rooms here so on the first day everyone knows your name already. From check in to check out the experience was very personal, on... More

Our stay in Taha'a was wonderful thanks to Le Taha'a Island Resort. We had an end of pontoon bungalow and the view was amazing. We loved the quaintness of the resort and the fact that everyone knew our names by the middle of the first day. The elegant dining experience to the buffet was great. Highly recommended for a visit.... More

Wow! We loved our visit to Le Taha'a and can't think of anything about our time there they we would change. One important detail is that the resort is managed by a true gentleman in every sense of the word, Mr. Julien Bressolles. He and his well trained staff made us feel pampered the entire week. Mr. Bressolles went above... More
